“I've been going to this Aldi for years now and I can tell you without a doubt this place treats you like family. I didn't know a grocery store could make you feel welcome. However the cashier ( Cheryl) and the manager have went out of their way several times to give me a quarter because I never remember to bring one. The other day I visited and broke all of my groceries outside my vehicle trying to load them intoy can, and I refused to let them clean it up and when I came back in from picking it up they replaced the two items that were broken for free. I know that they don't understand what a big deal this was but to me it really was. I love coming to the same store over and over again simply because I know that I will always be treated like family”
“The selection here can be limited. But I get a week's worth of groceries from the money I'd spend to get only a few days' worth at hyvee. No competition.”

“It's a small little store in the neighborhood. Depending on what you need, you might not find it. However, what you do find will likely be cheap. I got 4 chicken breast and leg peices for around 5 dollars!!!”
“Honestly I just really love this place it has most of my favorite things and if you go to one of the aisles for the ice sparkling water it's only $0.98 and a lot of their stuff is 98 cents I get some people think that is a lot of prices but it's not to me also I love going there to get my Wax Candy because they're only a dollar for the wax candy so I get to get about four bags of them they have donuts and cookies anything you could want or need Cash Saver has it I'm only 10 years old but I do go there a lot with my mom and I love it so does my mom we go there all the time every Sunday so yeah to the people that are saying and giving two stars and three stars and one star here's a reason that you shouldn't do that thank you Cash Saver so much”
“Shop here frequently. Cashier today @ 4pm 12/12/24 was incredibly nice, couldn't see his name tag as it was flipped around. He had glasses and gray hair. Gives the type of customer service that we had when people actually gave a s*** about their jobs - hard to do nowa days since wages haven't caught up with inflation. Give this man a raise.”

“Pleasant employees that go out of their way to help and even guide to to the best way or checkout stand to help you on your way. Heart warming,unlike other stores that you get glared at and make you feel like an intruder or trespasser. “HyVee is generally reliable, but they have a tendency to raise prices and then put items on sale shortly after, which feels a bit like a tactic to draw in customers. Their selection is pretty good overall, but the organic fruits, vegetables, and cheese offerings leave much to be desired. We’ve had several instances where produce went moldy within a day or two, or even came home already spoiled.
One positive feature is their policy of giving you the item for free if there's a pricing error, even if it’s just a cent. I’d heard they discontinued this, but a manager recently told me it’s now up to their discretion. On the bright side, they offer a great selection of gluten-free products, which I really appreciate.
However, some of their choices are puzzling—like placing San Pellegrino waters and Spindrifts in the health section. While Spindrift is fairly healthy since it’s made with real fruit sugar, San Pellegrino contains known chemicals, which doesn’t quite fit-move them to the seltzer water section and put it on the top shelf. Just something to keep in mind!”
