From being with Toyota for years. I was really scared to go into a new car dealership and being pressure into buying something and financially not being in a good place. I have really bad anxiety already and working with Clay helped relieve some of that just because he was so understanding. I really appreciate his time and efforts because I was already indecisive to what I wanted.
Clay did make me feel comfortable throughout the whole process and walked me through it. Being young and still somewhat new to this thing! He made it work for my financial situation and if there is anything I needed I can just call or text!

Clay Olson did a great job!!! I reached out first through a 3rd party and then he immediately followed up and sent me an email less than 24hrs later. When I went in he was very helpful, I took the car for a test drive and when I arrived back he was there to answer any questions I had. He was not pushy and like other dealers in the area he made me feel like my business was appreciated rather than expected. Walked in, test drove, and walked out within an hour. Would recommend him to anyone!

We had an outstanding experience in purchasing our brand-new Odyssey from Smart Honda. We live in Omaha but made the drive to Des Moines due to Smart Honda’s high level of service. We worked with Clay Olson over email initially until we could make the drive there on a Saturday to complete our purchase, and we greatly appreciated that Clay accommodated us on that. Clay made the car buying process extremely smooth and easy, without all the exhausting back and forth and long hours that most dealership experiences typically entail. They also treated us fairly on our trade-in, in giving us what we asked for on it. It’s clear that they sell a lot of cars and know how to get you in and out in a timely manner, and it’s also clear that Clay is a true professional who knows how to provide great customer service. We will certainly recommend Clay and Smart Honda to our Omaha friends if they’re in the market for a new or used car. Thanks again for a refreshing car buying experience!

My cousin was in the market for a new used car after his previous car was stolen and totaled. upon arriving at smart Honda last Friday, we were greeted by a very professional young salesman who was eager to answer our questions find the car that was right for my cousin.(I think his name was Lucas) after finding the car and test driving it was time to negotiate price. i informed the salesman i was going to assist in finance the car but would remain off the title. he didn't know if that was an option and asked Trent Groetken if this was possible. This is where the interaction went south. Upon my first interaction with Trent i was informed this was not possible and the Bank didn't know what they were talking about and frankly he didn't trust the people on the phone. (Smart Honda is a preferred partner of Veridian Credit Union) i once again called the bank to confirm this was correct. i can over hear Trent at this point calling his contact at the same bank as he didn't believe what i was telling him. Which is fine but, it was the manner in which he approached this with. after having a heated conversation and once Trent found out i was correct, he again approached and informed me i was correct and this bank did allow this (at no point did he apologize for his actions). i also asked to speak to the General Manager about this, i was informed he was there. after asking to talk to him twice and around 10 minutes later. i was informed the salesmen and finance had a talk about this situation and "i could call and leave a VM for the GM". he was on the phone for the rest of the day. We had the letter of intent to purchase a 22 CPO Blue Honda Civic at this point. It was getting late in the day, we needed to come back the next day to finish the deal. Ultimately, we decided to go to another Dealership nearby and had a Fantastic experience.
Update: This happened 2 months ago and still no contact from dealer.

I submitted my purchase request for Honda CRV EX through Costco auto program. Almost immediately I got response from Smart Honda. Clay was very professional, polite and efficient. He read my mind. I was totally ready to purchase the vehicle after a year’s of research on different cars. I decided to buy Honda CRV EX due to its reliability and gas efficiency. What I was waiting for is a good price. Clay was able to offer me the best price and I was happy with that.
I believe good salesman can make a huge difference. Clay made it easy for us. Without a lot of back and forth, we reached a deal through the phone. Clay prepared all of the paperwork for us before we got to Smart Honda in an hour while we drove to there.It took us about an hour to get the paperwork done. Clay was so considerate and he washed the car before we drove it away, made sure everything was in place. This is the first time I feel buying a car is easy. Thank you, Clay! Thank you, Smart Honda!Highly recommended:)

I had been browsing cars online for some time. I found a Civic here at Smart Honda that I liked and reached out. Matt Carlson quickly got in touch with me and helped me out with all of my questions and documentation necessary for purchase. I showed up to the dealership on our agreed date and Carlson promptly showed me the vehicle. When it came time to fill out the paperwork, Javan Torres efficiently and thoroughly worked through it with us. He helped us understand all of the paperwork and answered every question we had. I enjoyed my visit. This dealership has some great, attentive, and helpful staff.

This review is about their service center. Their parts and service costs are outrages. Basically, price gouging. Oil change is $100. They also misdiagnose and recommend things that you won’t need like a master cylinder replacement for $725. Avoid.

First off, every single salesperson I dealt with in my time of looking at cars, and ultimately buying one, was so friendly and helpful. They listened to what I wanted, gave me options, and held the car for me when I decided I wanted to purchase. They sent me the application link ahead of time so the day I went in to buy, I was only there MAYBE an hour. Everything was all ready to go! Matt in finance was super friendly and knowledgeable. Clay was amazing to work with. Overall just really impressed with my experience. Would absolutely buy from here again!

We had a great experience. Knowledgeable sales rep, not aggressive. It was a pleasant environment to purchase a vehicle.
We called in, knowing we were looking at the 2025 Pilot and set up a time for us to meet with Jak Carfrae. Jak let us check the SUV with our kids and was there to answer any questions we had.
We feel like we got a quality SUV and had a high quality experience. We would recommend the Honda brand and Smart Honda to anyone.
