I needed to rent just the suite jacket only for my son for prom and it was a nice jacket but the price was high $117 for one day for a suite jacket.

What a place to rent a tux from.. I was apart of a wedding and as wedding you try to match. When I’m spending 2-3 hundred dollars, I expect to match. My vest was blue in the front, black in the back. Everyone else’s vest was blue all round. I went into the south side location and dropped off the tux and expressed my concerns and was told someone would reach out to me. No one did. I showed back up 3 days later and was told by a balding looking Luigi from Mario brothers that basically we already got your money and the event is over so there is nothing we can do. If I’m not going to get 100% of the service I don’t expect to pay 100% of the price. I asked for 20% back was told no. I will be having a wedding in April of next year and after spending 700$ with Skeffington’s over the multiple weddings I’ve been apart of and all constant little problems I’ve had with them, I will not be having any of my grooms men rent a tux. If Skeffington’s goals is just get things close, I’d rather see my guys wear the black slacks they already have, their favorite black dress shoes, and buy a vest and tie/ bow tie and get for less than 2-300$ or atleast own it in the end. If you want perfection or customer services Skeffington’s is not the place to go.

Certainly not like it used to be! I was admonished for changing the ties on the manicans to see how the colors blended, "typically we don't dress the manicans up and down." I'm 55 and have done this more times than I can count. Usually, the man that was watching and disapproving of us looking at different color accessories is the one changing the accessories. A man came in mad when we were about to get measured. We were dropped and made to wait because this was his third visit, and he was madder than us. We waited, not patiently.

Multiple issues and had to go to a second locations to pick up a jacket. Lost the measurements to the groom's jacket and stalked the bride to be Facebook for a picture of the groom and guessed at the size of the jacket. Did not bother to call.Owner:Not sure you understand the number of items that were not even close to fitting, West Des Moines did not submit appropriate measurements and a majority of the party had to have at least one item resized, one person had to have 3 pieces replaced. One pair of pants 6 inches short, Slim shirts sent for people that were obviously not a slim such as myself.

I do not recommend. My fiancé went in early march to purchase a suit for our wedding June 24th. He received a text in May saying his suit was in. We went in and he did not have pants and the vest he was measured for does not fit. It is about 3 weeks from our wedding now and we still don’t know whether the vest and pants will be here. I understand things happen but we’ve had no communication and no apologies.

Have rented tuxedos at various places many times, though none equaled the service provided by Camryn yesterday, while buying a used tux for our Ames Chamber Artists performances in December. Very professional, friendly, and with extremely reasonable pricing, I'll definitely be a repeat customer!
