“Very nice community church. They are very supportive of the community and the schools. The church hosts several holiday events and is very active with supporting the school athletic activities. I it great to have a church really give back to the community they are in.”

“The staff here is a 10, they are amazing. While they have a security staff upstairs the one thing that has always bothered me is that to get in the backdoor you need a key fob for pre K access. Yet on the side of the building there is an unlocked door which you can get to 1 through 6th grade kids, yet you also can just walk around to the pre K kids rooms. So if security is important why not key fobs on both outer door access?”

“Our son attends Holy Trinity Catholic School in Des Moines. The school has innovative teachers, small class sizes and a community that not only supports the students, but the parents. Students have opportunities to provide service to their community and faith-based values are core to Holy Trinity’s mission. We highly recommend the school!”

“The teachers and leadership staff at this Des Moines La Petite is the best place to find loving and kind educators. They are such a wonderful team and make me feel confident that my son is being taken care of in the best way possible.I see them interacting with my son and teaching him things such as math, science, and emotions even at such a young age. They communicate all the time and throughout the day. Even when my son has been out due to sickness, they reach out to see how he is doing and say they hope he feels better.Ms. Jenny, Ms. April, Ms. Carol, Ms. Miranda, Ms. Janie, Ms. Luchua, and everyone else at this location are some of the most knowledgeable and loving teachers you will ever meet.Des Moines La Petite is the best place to enroll your child.”

“When I went there it was called Watrous Elementary but the name is now Morris. When it was Watrous we used to have an annual olympics. Only the winners got trophy's ,like it should be. Excellent grade school when I went there except the principle used to spank people with a wooden paddle that had holes in it.”

“We don't worship here, but we love our neighborhood church. They are open to everyone, and the congregation voted to embrace the LBGT community. They provide health care and dinner for people who need it once a week, and they regularly hold events open to the neighborhood--like picnics, board game nights, and plays. Our kids went to the preschool here (the preschool isn't religious), and we were very happy. We walk to the church regularly in the evenings and on weekends to use the playground (it's usually in use during the weekdays because of the school programs).”

“I love my child’s teacher! I like walking into my child’s class and seeing her art work along with photos of what she’s been doing throughout the month. The teacher has wonderful communication from telling me my daughters almost out of formula or addressing something she may have a concern about or letting me know she’s hitting milestones at daycare. I know that my child is well taken care of at this daycare. The management there is also very friendly, when I had questions about the bill they sat me down and kindly walked me through payment options. I would recommend this place to everyone.”

“Clean, quiet, student free today (lol), and it is in a great location. They are the best clinic around. I have dealt with the Big Boy company and a Ma & Pop shop in the Metropolitan area. Very professional setting with great abilities. Thanks!”

“This is the best preschool that I have found in three metro areas. The play-based approach is amazing and everyone is extremely kind, caring and friendly. The parent-helper program means that there is almost always a parent in the room helping and allows opportunity to truly be involved in your child's education. I really cannot say enough nice things about the program.”
