Great inventory to browse through and choose but not so sure about the staff in KC. Had a nice time shopping until I got to the counter and was chastised and embarrassed by an employee (who seemed like the manager) for placing the hanger tip of a shirt I was going to buy into a cheap acrylic business card holder on the counter. There was just no reason for it. I obliged, but chafed at his treatment. Staff needs better training. And, btw I still dropped $150 on merch despite the experience. Might return might not based on this experience.

RAYGUN is a must to stop by whenever I am in Des Moines. I love their stickers, buttons, and shirts, but the staff really make the experience great! This is a great store where you can find awesome gifts for anyone!

Such a fun store! I could browse for hours. Merch for every voice that needs to be heard. Def stop by to pick up souvenirs of every kind!

Cool place but didn’t buy anything. Hard to support a place that’s inclusive for everyone and everything but plus size people. Couldn’t find anything larger than a 2x. Also the women’s basketball stuff was picked over right as we head into March Madness. Make it make sense!

Didn't have what I needed unfortunately because I swore they would with how big of a store they are.funny and nice options of stuff but I wouldn't go here for souvenirs. Postcards are awesome and variety but other than that , cool quotes and political statements. The staff was friendly and attentive and the did try to help direct me to other stores that may have what I was looking for but no one had good souvenirs at all.

Let's start with it's just a fun place. The staff are fun and enjoy what they do - because they genuinely look like they are having fun. The variety of items is staggering. From novelty memorabilia to clothes that reflect a progressive attitude. It's fun. It's fresh, and they stay contemporary about social issues.They also allow dogs in the store. The tow levels and nooks and crannies allow for all sorts of different things. They have areas that are a playhouse for younger kids and a coloring nook.The upstairs didn't have a way for the vertically challenged to look at the sparse,eclectic vintage clothing or ray gun collection.However, if you're into Iowa or just want a good time perusing, start here.

Man, what a cool freaking store! We stopped in here on our last day of our weekend trip to Des Moines and loved shopping around the store. We ended up with a a few Christmas presents (coozies, magnets) and grabbed one of their mystery bags! The mystery bag had two shirts, and some other fun goodies for a really great price. The store has a ton of shirts, stickers, magnets, coozies, stationary, and everything else you can think of. They have one of the bigger selections I've seen of specifically targeted merchandise: shirts for librarians, San Francisco 49ers fans, and even Kansas City stuff! The store has a ton of options for people of all backgrounds and is very inclusive. Such a great store, great message, and great company. Can't wait to come back!

This place is so so fun. Loved all their quirky shirts and souvenirs. This is a great spot to get a unique gift or decor for your home (especially if you live in Des Moines, lots of location-based stuff to show off your city pride). I especially enjoyed all the fun stickers they had, and adorable tote bags. They also have a cute vintage area upstairs that was cool to check out (but kinda expensive imo).

This store is like none I've ever seen before. It's filled with endless hilarity on tshirts, stickers, hats, etc. I love the support for women's issues and the LGTBQ community that they show here. I left with some amazing gifts that are completely unique!

The MOTHERSHIP of Raygun stores! They have graphic tees, stickers, coasters, pins, EVERYTHING! And the vast majority of it is all printed and designed by them! I was in typography heaven here! There is truly no end to Raygun's creativity and hilarity when it comes to their graphic designs and this store offered two whole floors of goodies to browse - with their second floor being more vintage clothing racks with Raygun graphics stamped onto them! I came away dropping a shockingly large amount of money, which will always be a hard pill to swallow, but feels less bad when it's towards an awesome company like this and when many of the items I purchased were gifts for other people! So I can confidently say that Raygun is a magical place that is PERFECT for finding gifts for a ton of people in your life! This Iowa-based company is absolutely delightful! Everything you find here is going to be unique and wonderful and this is just the exact kind of company I love supporting! They are so bold and out here with their products and if you've got any halfway decent sense of humor, you are sure to find a ton of goodies here to appreciate and purchase! This store encapsulates the Midwesterner state of mind perfectly and I just absolutely love it! My only request to Raygun is for some more representation of other states in the Midwest! As an Iowa-based company, I obviously see and understand the overwhelming majority of Iowa-related products, but I've also seen some Kansas and Ohio merch as well and at this Des Moines store, I did see as one row of Michigan-related products and as a Michigander, I would really love some more Michigan representation! Ope, as long as that's not too much to ask! :P Beyond highly recommend that EVERYONE check this store out and at every single one of their locations! You might accidentally spend a ton of hours and money here, but you'll be sure to have a ton of fun doing so!

Perfect place to get a good quality midwest t shirt. Friendly & helpful staff. It was difficult to relate to every phrase as a tourist. But the staff helped me pick some awsm merch with which i can enjoy iowa way better & even make some friends.

Wow! Home of free speech, I am all in! This shop, colocated with a coffee cafe, offers a wonderful selection of tee shirts. Located in the downtown area within sight of the Iowa State capital building you could only imagine the messaging that goes on at this location! Suggest that you stop in and check it out for yourself.
