Will randomly make appointments without communication, it has taken a minimum of 45 minuets for me to ever get on the phone with the front desk office, any scheduled visit is at minimum 1 1/2 months out including just a minor consultation, bloodwork, medical history documents for work or even one shot. A nurse put the wrong allergies in my medical record history even after I told her that she was wrong, and she insisted she was right, then put that I was a “social drinker” when I made it clear that I have like one or two drinks every few years. My doctor is great, but way too many obstacles to get there.

Worked for this location and never wanted to work in healthcare ever again after 20 plus years! This place allows discrimination and hostile work environments in a living hell ( literally). They will protest your unemployment claims knowing they never fire anyone because you are forced to leave even after reporting to HR. Knowing there statistics of anyone receiving unemployment or staff needs are below an organization needs to operate. This place violates major law codes. Justice will be served for the people with good intentions after showing up to any PHC.

It's terrible. I made an appointment three months in advance. When I met the doctor today, I waited for half an hour at the front desk and was finally told that the doctor didn't show up today and the next appointment would be next month. What kind of professional ethics makes patients wait for three months and then be turned away? It's terrible. This place is a waste of time and life!

All the staff needs training on medical ethics 101.They'll mix-up patients names, infectious samples will get mixed-up. They'll pretend to auscultate for heart and breathe sounds over patient's/ child's clothing. They'll lie to you they've sent prescription to pharmacy.They'll give you a "Google diagnosis" before doing any tests. If you tell them you need a second opinion, they'll fabricate stories and call social services on you.They act like "ambulence chasers" bunch of providers looking to capitalize on patients wrongly perceived ignorance to rip off on health insurance money.Specifically avoid OBGYN, unless you want to deliver on the interstate/highway. Avoid pediatric care too, they'll fabricate stuff to denegrade on children's parents.Pathetic place to say the least.They need to be investigated for insurance fraud, malpractice and negligence.

I’m in need of assistance I’ve called everyone in Polk county.Everyone referred Primary healthcare even gave me the number. So I call at 11:02 March 22,2023 Seeking a help programs for my mental Conditions & health Problems. They have programming that I’m Eligible for I’ve been down this road before with them. So Jean or jen idk some older lady Answers the.I inform her on what I’m seeking she basically say they can’t help call the homeless shelter. I call the homeless shelter they tell me. They are the little people that go thru PHC and primary is like the parent, Also mentiones PCH has a program that Prevent homelessness. So I call back Jen hangs up on first ring, I call back now I’ve waiting thru 9 rings before I was told to hold on IMMEDIATELY. So I’m waiting literally waited 32mins for nothing While writing this Review SMH I’m going thru enough I didn’t need this added especially when I’m seeking emergency help.

2353 SE 14th St, Des Moines, IA 50320 office the worst. They let the phone ring for 30 minutes, no answer. Have to call multiple times to have prescriptions ordered. Dr. Gross is a fantastic Doctor. The front office staff is garbage. Only experience I can say is livid. ???

I have had good experiences here. It's mostly geared for STI testing and treatments. HIV testing. They also help women with womanly issues and do referrals. Will help you attain insurance is you don't have any. Do not go here and treat this place like it's a primary care facility. They have limitations. The entire staff is amazing. Front desk is a little concerning due to the lack of interest of people ... probably because they're burnt out from the tediousness of it all and no judgements. They still get 5 stars. It's a great place and they work hard for the community.
