Truck went in very quickly. Later that night we realized that something was in the cab that we needed. They were great about letting us in to grab stuff.

Do not bring your truck here if you have a warranty. They will hold your truck for ransom unless you pay full non warranty retail prices. It's happened to me twice.

First time buying a truck from MHC and it will definitely be the last time I spend a penny there. By far the worst experience I have ever had buying a truck or any kind of vehicle for that matter. Gave the down payment and signed the purchase agreement in Des Moines on a Wednesday. Plane ticket purchased to fly down to Knoxville T.N. on Friday to pick up the truck to find out Friday morning that they can't find the title and I was told I would have to wait on getting the truck. Monday rolls around and I get told it will be at least 14 days before they can get a new title. 14 days later (Monday) the title comes in, I get a flight for that Friday that lands at 7pm. I was asked to get an earlier flight, which cost $300 more, so I could meet up with a salesman in Knoxville. After all the issues, they wanted me to meet with a salesman, make sure everything is perfect, and the shop guys were going "to go through the truck with a fine-tooth comb". I get the earlier flight, pay the extra $300 so I don have to inconvenience anyone at MHC, pay for an Uber (After I was told I would have a ride from a salesman), find out the dealership has moved and I was given the wrong address, pay for another Uber, and then find out the salesman I was supposed to meet with, who had me purchase an earlier plane ticket, was not there any way. A shop guy hands me the keys and says, "there ya go, someone will mail you the title". I walk out to the truck, find it is low on oil, coolant light is on, no washer fluid, and mudflaps bungy corded to the deck plate. Fast forward 10 days after getting the truck home, I still don't have the damn Title. I have learned that you only need to have a pulse to be a salesman here. More skill is needed to work in a fast food joint than to be a salesman for MHC.

Fabulous service. Stopped with injector issues, and everything went fast and smooth. Everyone was professional and courteous. Rainey at the service desk was the highlight of the experience. She expressed genuine concern with my issues and made sure I was kept updated on the progress. They identified my problems and got me back on the road in less than 24 hours. Big shout out to everyone at MHC Kenworth Des Moines.

this place is a complete joke, good luck getting a phone answered or a email, total lack of professionalism at this place, oh and when you do talk to someone they all tell you something different and quote a different price. these guys are something else. we finally just got my truck towed away from that place and took it to a REAL SHOP!!!

Big thank you to Max Walper. He got our truck in quickly with fast triage and final repair! They were honest with their pricing and kindly to our driver while he was there. Highly recommended. While we cannot control where we break down, at least we know when we break down here we will be back on the road in a matter of no time without breaking the bank.

Came in for a wheel seal leak on nightshift and sat in the shop for 6 hours. Matt Seary, technician wrote the ticket up for 5 hours. I asked them did they run into any problems and they said “no”. Well throughout the hours I kept looking into the bay and I never seen the tech working on the truck. He could have finished that job in about 2 or 3 hours. I did not want money back or anything but I called Keith (service manager) just to report the situation and he rushed me off the phone. Hopefully a newer owner operator doesn’t come across a shop like this.. milking the clock because Every dollar counts
UPDATE: Ben, the service manager, gave me a call a few days later and offered his help with the situation. Thanks Ben for the great customer service. I will definitely be back in the future.

Jason McNertney has been my parts salesman for almost a decade and I couldn't say enough good things about him. He goes above and beyond for every request I shoot at him. I've shut down every other dealership trying to step on his toes. Jason is THE guy and we are SO GLAD we have him in our corner when we're trying to find parts.

Took awhile to get into the shop, but once in, didn't take long.
Tech's kept me informed every hour or so as to progress, good attitudes all around, considering it's been 100°+

Bobby Dalton has been an absolute pleasure to work with. He was able to coordinate the service work needed from beginning to end with little down time. Keep him around for sure! Won't deal with anyone else!
