“This is a gem. Old School neighborhood market. With an outstanding selection of eat in or takeout options. Burgers , Deli sandwiches, all the sides you can imagine. The foods always good. I get my steaks fresh cut from here. Also my tailgate burrito ingredients during football season. Deli sandwich rings for house parties.Family owned and local support. This is what is all about.”

“The Good Butcher, the first thing you have to say is the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. We stopped in on their grand opening. We were greeted as soon as walked in. A gentleman came out and spoke to us about watch was in the case and cooler. We discussed where the meats were sourced from. They had cute shirts for sale-hung on the wall. They also had some sliced salami for us to try on the counter. We grabbed two steaks to grill. They were delicious. Definitely worth the drive downtown to get meat from the Good Butcher. We will be back.”

“Here fairly often. Never been held up longer than 2 hours and that's only because they're unloading another truck. Super friendly. Usually in and out here.”

“Just got my meat bundle from the East side Fareway. Thx Nathan for being so nice and helpful... This is my favorite store. Brought one of my clients with me today to show them the meat bundles and they were so happy they got one themselves”

“I used to do a lot of my shopping here up until 2019, when I moved out of state. I’ve just moved back and I think it may have gotten a bit of a facelift since I was last in, because it looks a lot nicer than I remember! Maybe I’m just remembering it being smaller, somehow.Parking lot is still chaotic, as is navigating the store (it’s always busy and the aisles are small), and some product availability has shifted. There are noticeably fewer japanese staples (no mirin?) outside of the frozen aisle/rice. It’s still a hefty selection, compared to anywhere else in the state.Snacks and drinks are always at a markup, which makes sense. On the other hand, the produce section is varied, as fresh as possible, and CHEAP. Far cheaper than what you will find in any of the chained grocery stores in town. I used to go here for all of my mushrooms and root vegetables, and I’m so glad to see that this hasn’t changed. Their leafy greens have always looked good, and that hasn’t changed either. The prices of their dried goods is great, and the variety of soup bases and stocks is almost dizzying. They’re also the only place in town that I know of that sells frozen char siu bao, which is an immediate 5/5 on principle.I still haven’t tried the pho at the attached restaurant, but will one day! Thanks again C-Fresh, it’s nice to see you again!”

“I can't speak to the grocery store itself, but the haunted house in the basement is fantastic! Hasn't changed much over the years, but it is hard to improve on perfection. Narrow hallways and crawl spaces. Near complete darkness with helpful, dim lights here and there. Jump scares tastefully done!”
