My son went here when he was 2 in early 2021. The workers in the two year old room took his food from him on two separate occasions and then someone dragged him by his overalls across the room when he tried to run from them because he was obviously scared. Don’t send your kids here. Administration didn’t care when we complained and we immediately switched care to Leaps and Bounds.

The teachers and leadership staff at this Des Moines La Petite is the best place to find loving and kind educators. They are such a wonderful team and make me feel confident that my son is being taken care of in the best way possible.I see them interacting with my son and teaching him things such as math, science, and emotions even at such a young age. They communicate all the time and throughout the day. Even when my son has been out due to sickness, they reach out to see how he is doing and say they hope he feels better.Ms. Jenny, Ms. April, Ms. Carol, Ms. Miranda, Ms. Janie, Ms. Luchua, and everyone else at this location are some of the most knowledgeable and loving teachers you will ever meet.Des Moines La Petite is the best place to enroll your child.

worst daycare my 3 year old opened his eyelid he had to get stitches I was devastated! in his class they made like 3 different stories of how it happened. the Director told me all calm like it was nothing ! oh he just fell in his class and took it like a champ! Do not recommen this school to any parent that cares about their children.

My 8 year old has been going here since he turned 2,can't say enough of how great this place is,place is run very professional.I have never had a problem waking my kid up to go there.They have app for phone that updates you on daily activity which is very nice for piece of mind.My phone beeps when hes dropped off at school&,picked up.Teachers and staff enjoy there job.I highly recommend this place.They offer full time daycare,before after school care,and a 5 day punch card you can buy if your kid is prekindergarten or under,for days you need periodic.Teachers are great with kids in learning.They completely take the stress out of childcare.They have a excellent kindergarten program. And a great summer camp.Safe school buses.

All 3 of my kids attend this daycare and we have nothing by great things to say about the staff and teachers. My kids love going here and have learned so much since starting last summer. I would for sure recommend this daycare to anyone out there

My four and a half year old son currently attends La Petite. I am much happier with this center than with his previous center. Everyone is friendly and acknowledges us in the mornings and afternoons, which I appreciate. Most importantly-my son seems to really enjoy going there and always seems happy when I pick him up. Overall, happy with the director and teachers at La Petite. No complaints :)

My daughter absolutely loves going to La Petite Academy. The staff is dedicated to ensuring the best care is being provided. I couldn't have asked for a better fit for our family.

My two kids go to La Petite Academy in Des Moines and I can't say enough about how good this daycare place is. All the daycare teachers are so nice and helpful. My 2 kids are 6&7 now and they have been going to La Petite since they where 18 months old. The sad thing is that they don't take baby's the youngest is 18mo. I have a 7 month old daughter I take down the street and can't wait tail she is 18mo so I can transfer her to La Petite. La Petite interacts with the children in such a positive way they teach them new things everyday and help them grow in every way. They will work with you to get things done such as potty training, winging you kid of the bottle if that's a problem or just simply teaching them how to talk. If this daycare is in your area I recommend you try it out.

I love La Petite. My brother and I attended when we were younger and my now 4th grader has been attending since he was just a toddler. I think it says a lot that several of the teachers have been there for many many years. I feel safe leaving my child with their care.

Although my child has only been going to La Petite for about a month she is loving it. She is learning so much and doesn't fight me to get up and ready for school in the morning and she is much happier in the evenings too. To top it off I worked at this location about 12 years ago for several years and most staff members are still there.

The best decision we made was putting our toddler into La Petite. She just adores the teachers and when I pick her up or drop her off they can always tell me about her day in detail. Absolutely love this preschool!

I am so happy that I found this place... My daughter started this fall and we love it.. she loves to come everyday.. and I trust that she is being taken care of.. Everyone that works there is great, they are kind, polite, helpful..
