I work next door and usually eat breakfast here every morning. The last few months the service has gone down and the food in the warmers are always old or empty . This morning I stopped to get breakfast sandwich at 9:30 Am but all the sandwiches said sell buy time 7:30 Am . Must be new management

This is my favorite gas station in the Des Moines area. It's always clean, well stocked, and the people have always been friendly.

Had to test this at my own expense. Second time at a Kum n go. The most I have ever been able to fill up on diesel with the light on for 30 miles is 132 gallons at flying j and loves. Its always 120 to 125 gallons because I fuel before I hit the red. This second time I fill up here before hitting the red and somehow I pump 143 gallons..last time it was 145 gallons? Counter must be messed up at multiple kum n go places?

Update 1/10/2023 All new faces. The Hispanic lady that provided the best customer service is no longer here. Jay, Mikayla, and Heather are awesome They are friendly, courteous. Jay provided a fast and friendly service. Justin, the manager, was great. He would jump in and help. Good teamwork. Older review: This is probably the best convenience store and the best Kum and Go location. It is very clean both inside and out. The drink fountain area was clean, the prep table was spotless. There was no straw sleeves on the floor or counter. The isles were clean and orderly. The counter at checkout was clean. I was impressed by the Hispanic American counter lady at the counter She was very courteous and made everyone feel welcomed. She was greeting every single customer walking thru the door. I mean every single customer. You cannot find that anywhere nowadays. Thank you for making this an awesome Kum and Go.

Getting gas yesterday while husband went inside and while inside the cashier bought him his beer and apparently flirting with him. What kind of people do you hire? Buys beer for customers? This was around 230-300 in the afternoon.

Filled up diesel last night with lot of water inside, so I barely makes from there only 280 miles, with 50 mph at most, instead double mileage with real diesel without water as additive!

In the endless pursuit of trying to order two large pizzas on a Friday night, at this location the phone call times out or once answered, ingredients aren't available. Four attempts have been made to order a chipotle chicken pizza and the newer/less than new con queso chicken. Repeatedly, they are out of chicken, chipotle, con queso.....la de da, la de da. So I settle for an everything pizza...with you guessed it, no onions or green peppers. Kind of defeats the purpose. Unless you want to pay for something you don't want...maybe somewhere else is better. Too bad, because their pizza is good...just not always available.
