I have used Eastown Animal Hospital for over 20 years. They always put my pet’s wellbeing first, from puppy to elderly. They present options for treatment and allow me to decide my pets course of care. I never feel pressured or that are wanting me to do anything unnecessary for my pet. I find them to be compassionate towards animals and respectful of their humans.

Eastown was incredible when I recently had to put down my beloved cat. They were so kind and considerate of the loss I was experiencing, and I'll never be able to thank them enough for the wonderful care of my fur baby

I would recommend the Eastown Animal Hospital to everyone. Their entire staff is very animal friendly. My dogs were very much at ease. I have been coming here for 10+ years and they have always treated my dogs and me with kindness.

We were traveling through Des Moines in our motorhome and needed to see a vet. We had an appointment at another vet and the storm knocked out their power, so I had to call around to all the vets in town. Most of them were like you would expect in any large city and didn't really care about our situation nor were willing to make time to see us in our need. Dr Krista Carroll and Easttown Animal Hospital saved the day with their empathy and assistance for our dog at the last minute. They were able to squeeze him in for an appointment and their attitude of giving and caring for animals was truly obvious, not to mention that amazing Iowa warmth and hospitality that makes you believe in people again! I would go to them as our regular vet if I lived here for sure. The care was wonderful and their attitude was so positive and friendly. I come back regularly to Iowa to visit family and will now plan to see them with our animal whenever we are in town.

Great vet clinic! They listen to your concerns and do a thorough exam. They offer suggestions for your pet but don't try and push what I would consider unnecessary procedures, drugs, or care. Further more, I received a follow up call from the vet to check in on my two dogs after their annual. Definitely a personal touch I appreciate. I also feel that their prices are very reasonable and don't feel what I am paying for is out of line. I would highly recommend Eastown to anyone looking for a provider.
