Don't, Don't, Don't give these guys your business. They will take you to the bank starting out by adding almost $1,000 to the MSRP of EVERY new vehicle on their lot. They are ripping off each and every one of you who shop here. Too many other KIA dealers in the state that don't do this to allow them to take advantage of you. You have been warned! Drive on past.

Poor customer service, wouldn't recommend to my won't enemy. They get away with not immediately working on your car, by refusing to acknowledge there's even a problem tell they have you on their 3 month wait list. Horrible, horrible customer service. Went to pickup my car and not a single person had greeted me or told me what they did to my car. 0/10

If you are looking to purchase a new car from Kia of Des Moines, do yourself a favor and shop around. We were getting a quote on ordering a new car and by the end they added extra $5,000 to our total. Their response was that they always add an extra $5000 to the MSRP. We contacted two other Kia dealerships in Iowa and they both quoted us the MSRP price.

In world where car salesmen are dreaded by everyone, Kim is a savior. He is friendly and the nicest car salesman we have ever met. He helped us understand the various trims and helped us decide on what car do we want to get. We initially booked a gas one since hybrids were months away from delivery and three days later Kim called me asking if I was interested in a hybrid as someone who ordered previously declined to pick it up. Kim was amazing throughout the process. I mean where people are waiting for Hybrids for more than 6 months, Kim got me one in 4 days and with no markups. He is super friendly, gives you all the time and attention, doesn’t pushes you and is transparent about everything. If there was a feature he did not understand, he ensured to find people around who can help us understand the tech.

1/5 if you're looking for a used car - go somewhere else and fast. Sales personnel used poor/pressuring sales tactics. Offered 4,000 for my trade and I quickly declined and went somewhere else. A few weeks later I noticed they had the same car with the exact make, model, trim with 20,000 more miles on there lot for 11,000. Granted they incur expenses with cleaning and holding a used car, but having the exact car at 3x the price of my offer seems like they are trying to take as much out of you as possible. Do your research and know your car's worth.

The Sales person was really nice, but the Service department could use more help. The Lady that helped me was really nice, but i was there for 11/2 hours waiting for an oil change. I made an appointment 3 weeks ago, because they said I would have an hour wait if I just came in without an appointment. Not sure what good it was to make sn appointment???

We went in after doing much research as far as trade-in value for our car and fair pricing with the intent of buying a Telluride for cash and trading in our Mercedes. Given that the car drove well, we were prepared to write a check that afternoon. The salesman, (who was very young and had a cocky attitude from the get go), that came out to help was hesitant to even show us the car and then wouldn't show us or allow us to test drive the one we wanted to see using the excuse that test drives were for "serious buyers" only. In addition, when questioned about the 10-15% (depending on trim) mark-up over full list and the need to negotiate that, we were told in no uncertain terms, take it or leave it....we don't need to make sales, and who pays cash anyway....right?!?! As we were getting in our car, he was in his manager's office and both were laughing it up....completely visible through a wall of windows. Wow! Unfortunately, this encounter completely ruined the brand for us. I mean come on....it is only a Kia, not some epic car!

Way over priced. $120 for an oil change and a new cabin air filter! I didn’t receive a window sticker showing when next service was due either. Would not be returning for basic maintenance of my Kia.
