Dr Heyer is great with my 9yo cat. We've been seeing her for several years and I won't take her anywhere else.

The vets here are truly amazing. They are knowledgeable and really care about your animals, and even follow up via text a few days after your visit. The prices seem to be a bit higher than competitors, and the front desk staff can be prickly at times, but all in all a great place for your pets.

Dr. Ellsworth, Kim, and Tracy always takes amazing care of my little cat, Dopey! All of the Staff is AMAZING and really care about your pet. SO happy with my experience everytime I take him.

I just had my first experience on Saturday at the Merle Hay Animal Clinic - they were all fantastic! We had to go back today for a surgery and they took such good care of my pup! My dog had been having some stomach issues and vomiting a lot. They were able to pinpoint some potential causes and set her up to get things squared away. I was very happy with their service, but even more happy with the staff and their care/concern. You can just tell that they care about the animals coming through the doors and they make you feel incredibly welcome. I'm so happy to have found this gem of a business and fully intend to take my pet(s) there for years to come!

I would recommend Animal Medical Clinic to anyone! The staff was very nice & patient. The vet that seen my dog, Caspian ( i think her name was Kristi) was beyond amazing! She understood that we were a little strapped for cash, considering Christmas had just gotten over and we have rent due the first of the year. They offered to show me how to properly clean out his ears, which I accepted gladly! This place is amazing! Thank you to the staff, for a wonderful experience!

Since I gotten my cat, Duncan, I have always used a Doctor from the Vet Med Group. My animals, Duncan & Winston now see Dr Heyer and I love how she remembers them and me throughout the years! She helps keep me calm so I don't feed nerves to Duncan or Winston. She is patient with Duncan even when he can be grumpy.

Came here for the past nearly 3 years for my senior miniature pinscher. Dr Heyer has been phenomenal, always looking out for the best interests of my dog while explaining the options & helping me make tough decisions in a kind & caring way. The rest of the staff has been great as well. I don't live in the area anymore. If I did, without question I'd continue using Dr Heyer.

We first received treatment from Dr. Heyer at the Metro Cat Hospital on University, and were very impressed with the level of professionalism and knowledge she displayed. Now, she is our general care vet at the Animal Medical Clinic of Merle Hay. We have been very pleased with with the treatment of our two cats, as well as the prices and level of service. Dr. Heyer takes a very proactive (make sure the problems don't happen in the first place) approach to the health of the animals, instead the usual retroactive (figure out how to fix them after they're already sick) approach you find at most vets. Overall, we have had only great experiences at the Animal Mecial Clinic!

This place is a rip off. Do not go here. They told me that my dog had diabetes and kidney failure. The male veterinarian began to show my X-rays and told me that they needed to keep my dog overnight. The bill $800.00. Later found out that x-rays don't determine diabetes. My dog was so traumatized from this place. He would shake uncontrollably every time I took him there. Next the brunette female veterinarian told me that my dog needed his teeth clean and the bill would be $700.00. She was talking so fast and at the same time trying to hand me a form to fill out to apply for a credit account to pay for the teeth cleaning. Fortunately, I went to another veterinarian and it was around $140.00. After a few visit my dogs has stop shaking uncontrollably. DO NOT GO HERE.
