“So, I was at the store with my mother. I had my 3DS with me because I was shiny hunting a Pokemon, specifically, Type: Null. Now, I had a 1 in 4096 chance of getting one and I will do it more. I was bored and started up a conversation with a cashier about my Pokemon Sun save and how I was shiny hunting Type: Null. Another employee knew what I was doing and just when I was leaving, he wished me good luck! Now I was at 80 soft resets in the store. In our car I got to 86 resets and got it, note this was like 3 minutes after he said "good luck." Next thing you knew, I was screaming "SHINY TYPE NULL OH MY GOD YESS!!!" Something like that. Now, Type: Null is one of my 2 favorite pokemon, one of my 2 mascots, and part of my current social media names. 86 is now my favorite number. So, Lester, if you're seeing this, thank you!”
