went inside to purchase a pot for my little plants.. guy at the cash registered completely ignored me, and couldn't be bothered. went outside for some help, and was greeted by a woman in the garden section who was the nicest person ever. she helped me immediately, and was extremely nice. I wish I knew her name, because she deserves a raise.

The Green Thumbers truly captured my vision for our wedding last week. There was a miscommunication in pricing when we originally booked with them, but everyone we worked with leading up to our wedding was very helpful with coming up with solutions in order to make sure our vision was carried through! I definitely would recommend them!

I ordered a gift basket for Administrative Professional Day and it was gorgeous! I originally stopped in because I wanted to check out the coffee shop. It was nice that Aroma was situated inside Green Thumbers because I'm also a major plant enthusiast.
I think the olive oil and other gourmet foods they sell are nice. However, I think their plants are grossly expensive. They cost 4x as much as what I pay at home on the East Coast. Maybe they're more difficult to cultivate here, but I've been to other gardening stores in Iowa that sold the same things at a fraction of the price. I would like to say that the prices may be justified because the plants are high quality but I saw a lot of bruising, a lot of browning on leaves, and overall poor watering and soil quality. I've honestly never seen such simple house plants so expensive and yet lacking so much.
Maybe it's an off-season. Maybe they're understaffed. I bought a purple Oxalis Triangularis and re-potted it immediately. It's bouncing back, but I think I would rather buy plants from Etsy and save Green Thumbers for a leisurely stroll. The whole facility is beautiful inside but they've really got to do something about their house plants. The staff is really helpful and welcoming, otherwise. That's a plus.

The coffee is amazing and the gift shop is adorable. The entire store is bigger than it looks on the outside and the bathroom is private, clean. The employees clearly work very diligently.

They really captured my vision for my wedding perfectly. We traded a few emails on what I was looking for and drove up from Chicago only once to go over everything I need for the wedding. I felt very confident that they would create something beautiful. They went up and beyond, the flowers were stunning. My bouquet, the bridesmaids bouquets, the flower decoration for the arch, and etc. everything was beautiful. I I wouldn't have changed a thing! I highly recommended using The Green Thumbers, they were amazing to work with!

Went to pick up wreaths and a grave blanket for my parents. Grave blanket was beautiful as always. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. Had a nice chat with Andy who was very helpful.

The staff is extremely helpful! I had to bring in two plants that were struggling and I didn’t know what to do. To my surprise, one of them needed to be in a more shallow pot. The other one had pests and I just needed to purchase a spray to treat it. So I bought a new pot and I got a new plant for the pot I already had!Such a helpful team and the location is so esthetically pleasing!You can also purchase decor for the season, jams, sauces, and more!
