Ever since we have purchased our hot tub we have had nothing but problems with this company. Ordered a part 2 months ago and they said they would come in 2 weeks to replace it then I called to follow up to find out they never even ordered it. Whenever I call I get transferred several times or given different people to call. First when we bought it came without a lid and that took 8 months to get. Wish we never bought our hot tub from here! Customer service is ridiculous!

BE WARNED! DO NOT accept a position as the warehouse manager. I resigned as the warehouse manager a few weeks ago after being lied to about pay wage and multiple other issues. General manager expects you to do your job AND clean up after all the sales people who will come to warehouse and leave a complete mess. I was told it's because they are to busy "making sales" to clean up after themselves. Job Expectations are completely fine until you start the job and realize you have to babysit and clean up after literally everyone else in the building. The measley $18/hr i was offered was not even close to worth it. I was told by the delivery people that The Great Escape has been through multiple warehouse managers and all have the same experience i had. If you choose to accept a warehouse position there just be warned. You will be promised the world and it will never be delivered on. Manager said hes offering a "kings ransom" for the position. LIES! ALL LIES! If you want proof, message me and ill show you pics.

We had a great experience working with Cody. He is knowledgeable, personable, patient and professional. He knows his products very well! He was able to tell us pluses and minuses of a variety of patio sets that we were investigating. He somehow sensed when my wife and I need some alone time to discuss options. He would then return and ask clarifying questions and then provide additional options. We are very pleased with the experience at Great Escape QC. Thank you Cody!

We couldn’t be happier with our patio furniture (sectional), umbrella and outdoor bar we recently purchased. Jay had great ideas and made sure we purchased furniture to meet our needs and even measured everything to make sure it would fit on our patio! The crew set everything up and was very professional! The team at Great Escape is awesome! Not only do they have great products, the people make all the difference. In a recent experience, I was picking up a patio set that I was delivering 5 hours away and the truck didn't come in. Jay and Doug immediately dropped everything and arranged for me to take a set off the display floor. They carefully wrapped up the table and helped load it. I will buy from them again.

We bought a above ground pool a few years ago from the Davenport Iowa location. Since we bought it. We have had ZERO luck with any assistance with any help or questions we may have. We call several times they are always busy with a customer. We leave our name and number for a return call. The return call never happens. We have purchased items that we was charged over the sticker price on our Great Escape card . Since we used our Great Escape card we can't get refunded the over charged amount we was told.Had some issues with our pool before leaving for vacation. Called same old senior. They will call us back. Which never happened. Had to seek assistance from another local pool business. Very upset and disappointed. Definitely there to assist purchasing the items but really never there afterwards.

I’ve had really good experiences at great escape more than once all because of Doug, honestly always return because of him. He’s always so knowledgeable, professional, and helpful. With him being the amazing person he is we’ve made multiple big purchases that he made us feel so comfortable in making. I would recommend everyone to go there because of Doug and of course will be a long time customer because of him as well. Long story short, shop at great escape because of Doug he’s the best!

We had a great experience! It took us several years to decide what we wanted before we finally purchased our patio furniture and umbrella. Doug was very patient with us and couldn’t have provided better service!We love our new “living room” on our patio!

We had been struggling for weeks to get our pool clean and open and nothing we were doing and have always done in the past was working. We just kept pouring more money into it with no change and were beyond frustrated. We had gone to Great Escape in the Quad Cities because our usual pool supply store was closed and I’m so thankful we did! Crystal could tell right away that we weren’t sure what to get and jumped right in to help! She went above and beyond to help us get it clean! She took such great care of us and even helped on her day off!!! Great Escape is now our go to pool store and Crystal is our gal!

With Great escape we had 100% satisfaction with all the help they have provided. We had some bumps in the road getting the pool set up and things the pool contractor messed up and a few things were missing. I called and talked to Crystal at great escape and she 100% helped me and took care of everything. Even when I was very Ornery she was great. Yes I did apologize because it was not her fault. Thank you to Great Escape and to Crystal for every thing. I can not wait to have warm water to enjoy our pool. We got a 24x54.

Frankly, this is a grossly incompetent store. We initially bought a hot tub from them and the buying and install was quick and easy. Doug, the man who sold us the hot tub gave us his phone number and told us to call when we were ready for initial setup and water chemistry. Called, texted, left multiple messages. Completely ghosted. Never heard from him again. We were flying solo on figuring out this new hot tub. About 6 months later we decide to buy a pergola from them that we have been eyeing since we bought the hot tub. Again, sale and install scheduling was quick. The guys come out to install the pergola and the crate had clearly been opened previously despite this being sold as "new". There was no hardware, parts were missing, and other parts were damaged. The manager Jay said he "would have sworn on his house" all the parts were there. Well they weren't. Numerous parts had to be ordered and install rescheduled. Long story short, they had to come back 4 more times over the course of 3 months to slowly install this thing only to discover more parts were missing. Finally it was "done." The track that the screens are held in weren't installed properly so they wouldn't close and my husband finally took it upon himself to fix. The manager, Jay, offered us some money back for our inconvenience but it's honestly not enough for this 3 month nightmare. Also, still waiting on that check. We got to know the install crew that works with Great Escape due to their frequent visits and they also recommended we order from a different store as they always have problems with the Davenport store and specifically the manager, Jay. Buyer beware.
