Amazingly different than the other one right down the street! The lady that helped me was really sweet,helpful and patient!! So thankful for that! I was trying to reach out to a family member who I knew would love to see a couple of things they had but after 2 hours of shopping in a tiny store and waiting for a response I had to leave....lately almost every time I go to the thrift shops around the employees are rude, judgmental, and suspicious. For someone who struggles with even leaving their home even for a few minutes it's not the kind of experience that I hope for...but today that sweet, beautiful and kind woman made me feel like I was a VALUED CUSTOMER..

The Salvation Army As Is thrift store is located,adjacent I the rehab center at the same location. The thrift store has everything except clothing. Dave the manager was very helpful when I was there. Great deals!

Truly a game changer in the world of addiction and recovery. The Salvation Army provides a program in which participants are able to focus on their recovery, physical health, and spirituality. The River Valley staff and administration work together to ensure that all participants are afforded the opportunity to acquire the tools and skills to maintain their sobriety once they successfully complete the program. I highly recommend the River Valley Adult Rehabilitation Center.

Thin black girl that works at the As Is store told me I couldn't take pictures in the store. I asked the older white man about that policy and where it is displayed, he said no such policy exists. This girl always has a crabby look on her face when I stop by to shop and she is never friendly. I'm not sure what her problem is but its very possible she just hates white people or men. She is definitely a liar and a hater. Hope they fire her and hire someone better asap. They could do alot better. She needs to be stocking shelves and running the cash register, not lying to and harassing customers.
