Let's start with the good: the location is quiet, the staff is friendly and somewhat accommodating. Breakfast was ok, at least they have a working waffle maker, which I can't say about many Residence Inns, or Marriotts in general.Now the bad...like others have said, the hotel is being renovated. That should have been done 5-10 years ago, as the location is quite outdated. I had to call a 3rd party help desk and wait on hold 10 minutes to get internet working.The microwave surface light didn't work, so no night light overnight. The pool was also out of order. There are no ice makers at the property! So you have to ask the front desk if they can get some from the kitchen.The room thermostats are analog, so you'll have to guess what the room temp is set to. Our room had a hole in the drywall, and while it appeared clean at first glance, there were unpopped popcorn kernels in every cranny. The floor was so dirty that my todddlers feet turned black after walking around for 45 minutes.We stayed in a 1 bedroom, and couldn't use the doors between the rooms because the handle/latch was broken.Find somewhere else.

Hotel is under renovation so it’s lower priced, but experience wasn’t good. Internet & room phone not working. Breakfast was average. Staff is friendly. I won’t consider this place again. Not recommended.

Need a $500 CASH deposit to take a room, sounds like a scam to me. Had a reservation but had to cancel it. Very annoying

Not great by any means. Staff was friendly but not at all helpful. Had two reservations, one I was paying for the second I was redeeming points. I explained when I checked in the whole thing and she "wrote it down" about me not changing rooms because of the reservations. Said I'd be fine, I wasn't. I went to the front desk on the second day to to make sure it was still good, different person says "I see the note let me check". Turns out the combined my reservations into one. She said she'll fix it and "leave a note". When it comes to check out day I notice I got charged twice. Guy at the lobby apologized, didn't see any notes and says I'll get refunded in 3-5 days. Note happy about being lied about fixing it then charged twice.

In that time it was a great stay. Everything ran smoothly. The room was more than adequate and spacious for 5 people. It is very close to interstate easy to get in and out. Just a friendly and allowed us to have a late check-out.

Very pleased. Customer service was amazing. All employees were very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely stay here again.Rooms: Just what we needed. Plenty of room.Food & drinks: The continental breakfast was amazing.

Extremely dated and in need of an up date. The staff was nice and friendly, the water was hot and the room was quiet but not our typical Marriott experience.

I have stayed at this hotel twice- March 2022 and January 2023. This hotel has declined significantly. The hotel lobby was filthy, the floor did not appear to have been cleaned recently. My room appeared clean but there issues. The bathroom cabinet door was broken, the sheets were not properly put on the bed, and the cable/Direct Tv does not work (only the analog channels are available, no digital channels). The next morning, I discovered the Continental breakfast barely had any food. There was no silverware for guests, the area was dirty, and they were serving yogurt that was best by November 2022 in January 2023. Incredibly disappointing for a Marriott property and not worth the money.

My stay at the Residence Inn Davenport was the worst experience of my life thus far. Having to live through my experience, and share this story multiple times is exhausting. All I want at this point is to be fully refunded.My sister, 11 month nephew, and I were harassed by the GM for something that was not our fault but rather it was the fault of hotel staff. We didn't even get an apology after being harassed by the GM. Unfortunate because the rest of the hotel staff were super nice.Mistakes happen. Own up to them and compensate accordingly. If the leadership of the hotel presents itself this way, then beware!

Pool was cloudy, whirlpool jets in hot tub didn't work, down for w few weeks they said. Pickleball court w no net. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

First off, we came into the room late and there were stink bugs in the room. Dealt with them and told the front desk in the morning. It was downplayed and they have an exterminator called. The desk clerk was very kind and respectful. It was early, and he made coffee for me around 5:30. Excellent service. The next morning (today) it's 6:30, and no coffee hasbeen made and the lights are off in the dining / commons area. I asked if they could make coffee, and the guy (different from yesterday) said there is no coffee until breakfast. 30 minutes prior? I never stayed anywhere that they didn't have coffee by this time. Will not stay at this hotel again. Besides the A/C never worked properly and the place needs to be updated. They've neglected to keep it up.

There are several problems at this hotel. I have stayed at Marriott over 1000 nights and have never been so disappointed in the quality of a Marriott property as this one. Staff do not wear name tags, dress in tee shirts and jeans, are not knowledgeable about room preference availability, pet policies. That is just the beginning. Room had 1 towel, no washcloths, no extra toilet paper, no remote controls for TV, furniture was dirty, carpet stained, no hairdryer in one room, closet door was off track and could not be opened or closed, no luggage racks- (was told to just put luggage on floor or bed). When I asked for towels and washcloths, I had to go downstairs to get them because there was no one in housekeeping on duty (one young girl was left alone at a supposedly sold out hotel) to manage the entire place.Other reviews mention that the place needs an update- and it very much so does. It is an embarrassment et to the Marriott chain of quality Hotel properties.

The room was not ready, the room was dirty, hot tub was broken, breakfast was half empty, no coffee when we got up. All of this and they charged us $75 for a dog we did not have. When trying to get this figured out the GM will not return my calls but told Marriott he handled it.

I was unimpressed this is an older hotel.Carpet dirty. The Elevator was in need of service as it was slow and untimely. Staff was not unfriendly but also weren't friendlyThe pool which was one of the reasons we stayed here was closed everything looked fine with it but when we asked the desk lady chuckled like its never open if thats the case then don't advertise it. The breakfast was a dry chalky biscuit sandwich. over all for $179 a night this place was over priced by about $100 a night one of my worst Marriott experiences in my 672 lifetime night staysMy stay was just over 1000$ for 5 nights and was pitiful for what we got.
