Don't work here. You get paid more to cashier for less grueling work. Management was rude. Have to go to the restroom because of a medical issue? oh well use your break or lunch time. Open on holidays, for some unknown reason. Work is boring, and mind numbing. Honestly would rather work customer service and get yelled at then ever work here again.

Transcribing here is grueling work, but if you can stomach it I guess it's good enough of a job to keep yourself from starving. You literally sit in one place and transcribe audio messages back to back your entire shift. The records are almost all old people complaining about one thing or the other. You type all of it; relevant or not. You also have to clock out to use the restroom, which they just pass off as "well you can come in early or stay late to make it up" as if that makes it any better. You will work every holiday as well, if scheduled for that day of the week.

I have been working for PSS for almost 6 years. I love that they are very flexible with scheduling and that I have been able take advantage of advancement opportunities. I enjoy what I do and my supervisor is amazing!

What kind of place makes you work Christmas day? Even Wal Mart is closed. Absolutely ridiculous to make someone with two young children work Xmas morning. Thank God I don't have to work there!

For me, PSS has been a great place to work for 20 years! Their employees are the best, throughout the company, and there are opportunities for advancement. Flexibility in scheduling and employee appreciation meals are things you won't get just anywhere you work; at PSS they're a given. One thing I'm always impressed with is the efforts they make toward special working accommodations for those who need them. Rock on, PSS!

Definitely the worst company you could work for. They pay under $8.50/hr and expect you to work like a dog and tell you when you can go to the restroom/break and also don't give raises. Once was told by another employee they got a 2 cent raise after a year. If you're looking for a dead end dump to work for this is the place !
