Jay Lundberg is an exceptional dealer. I have been car shopping for about 2 weeks and the 2 dealerships nearby continuously had issues. I was already frustrated because I felt like my time was already being wasted by these other 2 dealerships (just not being up front honest, hard to reach/contact) and my significant other helped me out to find the perfect car for me. Smart Hyundai of Davenport was quite a drive for us - about 4 hours roundtrip. I went with my cousin and a friend - when we got there, Jay had the car ready for us and started showing us its features and thoroughly explained it. Jay is very knowledgeable - which is something I did not get to experience from the previous dealerships I have been to. At least not the level of expertise that Jay had. Jay has a very calming demeanor and confident - it made it easy for me to understand the process.
After the car purchase, Jay followed up by calling me and asking about the car's performance. I received a couple more phone calls which I missed because I was at work! I would definitely recommend anyone who's getting a car from this dealership to go to Jay. He is a star employee and deserves a raise! :)

As for the finance guy, I believe there could be come improvement in knowing how to establish rapport with the customers. English is not my first language and if someone talks or explains things too fast, I need them to slow down. You wouldn't want to do such a huge purchase without fully understanding the terms, do you? There was also an attitude that I did not like. I am a very nice person and almost never complain but I had to leave this comment - would have been a deal breaker if it wasn't for Jay's professionalism.
Ps: The pink interior & seat covers are not included ?

I had an awesome experience there. People were friendly, courteous and extremely knowledgeable. Couldn't have had a better experience. Oh, and I love my new car!!!
P.S. Reason changed to a 4 star finance screwed the paperwork up which caused my payment to go up. Pretty angry about that.

Truly an amazing experience. Anthony caught us peeking at cars after hours and still was very helpful and gave us the information we wanted even though the store was closed. We came in the next day and got the car he recommended for us as it really did give me exactly what I wanted, and within my budget. Then when we were all done with paperwork I came out to a big bow on my new car! I can’t say enough good things about Anthony and his team for helping us. Thank you!

I was looking for a Santa Fe hybrid for about a month and had trouble finding one. Saw one at smart (in bound, for delivery. ) Went in and worked with Eugene. He was very helpful and worked with me to put down a deposit. My only critique would be that when we came in to do the delivery that it would have been helpful to have information about the extended warranty options beforehand so I could read up on the options available beforehand. Otherwise, great experience overall.

Went to look at a 2021 Kona and ended up with a 2023 Kona for only 20 more a month then the 21. I mean I couldn't pass it up. 19 miles and Brand new. Jay and the rest of the staff are amazing people. Def recommend.

This is my third experience at Smart Hyundai of Davenport since purchasing my first used Hyundai in January. The second visit included a blind spot recalibration, oil change, and multi point inspection. When I picked up my completed vehicle, myself and the service manager noticed that a reverse light and marker light were not functioning properly and it was not found during the “inspection”. Additionally, the blind spot system never did actually function following the recalibration (something I realized I don’t need to drive safely and honestly, didn’t take the time to follow up again). When I noticed a quiet noise, I actually took my vehicle to a local Chevrolet dealership because after that second visit, I have more trust in them than the team at Smart. I returned with my vehicle upon advisement from my local mechanic for transmission issues on 4/30. On 5/6 we were contacted that a transmission replacement was needed. We made the decision that day to replace the transmission. The vehicle was not completed until 5/31. Throughout these 4 weeks we were not contacted by anyone to give an update on how things were going/how long to expect the car to be out of service. Thankfully, my parents have an extra car we borrowed during this time as a service loaner was not offered. After picking up my vehicle on 6/1, I noticed through the rearview mirror that the engine splash shield was in the trunk. Once getting home, my husband and I realized that it was completely overlooked and nothing was ever put on in place of it. My husband called 6/3 to let the service department/manager know that the project was not 100% completed and our frustrations (especially after spending over $5000 and 4 weeks of borrowing someone else’s car). The only reparation offered was for us to bring it back in (30 miles away) to have someone put it back on, something I trust myself to do more than them. After two dissatisfied experiences with the quality of work and attention to detail, we have chosen to drive over an hour for all future vehicle needs.

Purchased a car for my granddaughter. Chris was our salesman. He went upove and beyond to make it a good experience. If you are considering purchasing a vehicle I would ask for Chris he will make it as smooth as possible
