I made an appointment two weeks in advance to get a recall part installed on my Honda Accord. I took it in they accepted it, and I got a ride home. 45 minutes later they called to tell me (oops) my part had been used on another vehicle the day before and I would have to make another appointment when they got the part back in stock. Sheer incompetence.
Four years later .... I asked them to check the A/C system as the car was not cooling well. They called and said that to fix, it would be $400. I agreed, figuring at least eveything would be fixed. When I went to get the car, the bill was for $700, and they said that there was a small leak, but couldn't find it. They put a dye in to find the leak, which when found I can get repaired for more money. So $700 for a freon topoff ? From now on I will recharge the A/C myself!

Wow, what a great experience! My wife and daughter were left stranded on the interstate today and we are from downstate. Another Honda dealer was of no help. Then we called Dylan from Smart Honda and he literally handled everything for us. He called the tow truck and got us in immediately. He even called her twice to check on her while she was waiting for the tow truck. They had has fixed and going again in two hours. What a blessing to have such great help! Thank you to Alex R. as well for finding the problem and getting us going so soon. Thank you so much for everything you did today!!

I just bought an hrv from Smart Honda. I just happened to get a young man named Evan as my salesperson. What a breath of fresh air, in these days where customer service is usually a bad experience. He actually had a smile on his face and very polite! He spent all day making sure I got what I wanted. He explained all the features in my new vehicle, was so patient, smiled the whole time, was not pushy at all. He really cares and seems to love his job. Best customer service I have had in a long time! If you are nervous about buying a new vehicle, go see Evan.

Recently purchased a 2015 Subaru legacy from this dealership and had a great experience. Lucky and the rest of the smart Honda staff took very good take to make sure I left with a reliable vehicle that fits my needs. Would definitely recommend stopping in to get a car here.

I had a horrible experience with this dealership, I’ve been to only this one since I move from California 4 years ago. They did a diagnostic on my CR-V 2018 2WD and they wanted to do the service charging me over more than $3k I couldn’t afford that at that moment so I told them I’ll do it after my vacation because I was going to be out of town. I only went for a diagnostic and since I didn’t proceed to do the service they gave me back my Honda with a lot of disconnected cables all over the motor the guy who help me even made me sign a paper where I agree that everything was under my responsibility when I got in my car and started driving my car back home it was shaking and making noises when my car was absolutely NOT in that condition. I could have died. I told my husband what happened and he took my honda to a different shop and they told us all of the cables where disconnected! And that i could’ve an accident. I was crying from anger and disappointment on Smart Honda of Davenport. My husband wanted me to sue them but Im the type of person that rather not be in legal problems because of my anxiety. Im writing this review for other people to be careful with this dealership service. Stay safe!
