Took my truck n my sons for an estimate.. estimate written in a business card..thought the price was fair so I went through with it for the following week. Took the truck in for rust spots on the corner sides by the tires on back fenders both sides and also repaint my side steps or nerf bars . The side nerf bars were hand painted with a brush. The bed corners you can’t tell where the new paint was applied not a good finish. The bad part of it all was when they accidentally hit the passenger back door with something very hot and crystallized the paint. I complained but said they did not do it. I told them I would know cause I wash the truck once a week. They denied doing it but did offer to paint the damage and repaint the nerf bars.. with the experience and the denial on their part i refused to take it back. Also they had the truck in the shop for 2 weeks where it sat outside with the elements.

Much deserved 5 star for LT!! He is the man to call if you have any issues, especially with your frame. He welded my 4runner up and sealed everything so that I'm able to get another 250k out of er. Above his great work, he also was able to get it done faster than originally quoted. Not very often you find a shop like this these days. Thank you LT!!

I took my SUV to LT Walter Company for rust repair. They did an excellent job and it was finished when promised. The repair added years to my vehicle. It looks great! The price was quite fair. Personnel were easy to deal with and they answered all my questions to my satisfaction.

Did a great job. When I had an issue with some rust on the roof, the owner took it back, no problem, and went above and beyond by giving me a free rhino coat for the roof after it was sanded down and repainted! The rhino undercoat is superb. Ive extended the body life of my truck by decades.

I have a 2002 gmc envoy and a very common issue is trailing arm brackets rust off the frame and upon purchasing the car I didn’t notice they were almost at the breaking point so when it happened I looked up all kinds of ways to fix it and every time I got the same result (junk it) but I wasn’t ready to give up so I called every shop I could find from Wisconsin to Missouri (I’m in Illinois) and all of them said that they couldn’t do it then I heard about LT WALTER CO . I figured why not try one more so I explained the issue and his first response was YES we can fix it and his confidence with the situation made me very comfortable to have him work on my car and it took him 2 days but he fixed it and it is professional quality work I’m very proud to recommend this business to anyone I know lt walter will get all of my future business

L.T. Walter Co. truly saved the day for me. They performed a lot of extensive repairs on my vehicle. L.T., and his mechanics, took the time to explain to me what was wrong with my car. Not only were all my concerns regarding my vehicle addressed but they, also, took me out to my car, in their garage, and showed me everything that was wrong with my car. They replaced all the Brake Pads and Rotors and I feel totally safe. The brake work is fabulous! My engine is no longer over heating since LT patiently took the time to find out why my radiator was continuously losing antifreeze. The Intake Valve was replaced and now my engine is functioning a 100% better than before... no more overheating. L.T. made sure I made it home safely after I left my vehicle in his care and picked me up when the repairs were completed. He has a couple of really competent mechanics who assist in the repairs at the shop. They are all highly knowledgeable in Mechanics and motivated to get the job done in a timely manner. Now, My vehicle rides like a new car!!! I'll never go to another a repair shop.
