walked in and asked if my past nails were able to be removed, got an answer of yes and then the way of removal was painful with cuticle clippers. the process of getting simple french tips was nothing i had ever had before and i ended up not liking them very much. costed 65$ for these to not like how they looked in the end and my fingers were very sensitive at the end of the day because of the removal in the beginning.

Dishonest. They don’t clearly post current prices, and today they upgraded/upcharged my plea for a “basic manicure”. They hide behind the language barrier to creat confusion. Just downright dishonest!

Walked in spur of the moment to get my nails done, and it was an amazing experience! I will say that the salon looks closed because of the construction right outside on the front street, but it’s open! I highly recommend KT Nails—gaining access to the parking lot was not a hassle at all with the construction out front.I’m making this my go-to salon in the area because none of the others I’ve been to are so skilled, kind, detail-oriented, hygienic, and respectful of their customers. Helen did dip on me with almond shaped nails, and I was so surprised by how well she shaped my nails. I work with my hands often so they’re not the most delicate looking, and she did a great job working on my wonky shaped nails. Usually when I get my nails done, the almond shape can come out uneven on some fingers compared to others, but this time my nails came out identical and symmetrical.The design was beautiful as well. Hellen is friendly and works efficiently, and she’s very receptive to feedback about your nails if you’re shy like I am and have trouble speaking up. I have since visited the salon once more after my first experience, and my second visit was just as good as the first experience. The second time, I was not a walk-in, and my scheduled appointment started right on time without any wait. The staff was welcoming and very thorough. I think the prices are very fair for the quality of work and service that you get.Out of curiosity, I just looked at some older reviews from years ago, and I’m surprised that a few customers had negative experiences. I would surmise that this salon has probably gotten much better on staffing/staff since years ago, and if you’re questioning whether you should try coming in, do it! I have my next appointment scheduled already.

Todays experience to as the last straw! Dishonset practices. today I said 3 times I wanted a "basic manicure". She said a few things that were unintelligible, spoke with her boss in native language and gave me an upgraded "gel" manicure that I have never had and didn't request. They claimed I asked for this upgrade specifically. I paid for it, but I will never go back. Also, they purposely do not list their current prices and I believe they charge everyone differently based on what they feel at the time is appropriate. it's dishonest and they should be investigated for unfair business practices!
