the only reason I’m not back at Barker property is because the didn’t have anything in my time frame when I moved back to the QC. I am currently looking to leave the place I’m at and will be back @ Barker soon enough.
My apartment was clean, my carpet I think a year old, but looked/felt new. I had no insects/pests, maintenance is prompt within the same day . I chose them because they are 100% smoke free, pet friendly, & location.
It’s an apartment not a house. So, on occasion you will have noises, they can’t control the neighborhood or ambulances etc.
I wish now that I’d had stated in DSM a month longer paid $1100 just so I could have moved back to a Barker property. Because the sight unseen complex that I’m in now- as soon S I can I’m gone.
Everyone has their limits to what they can tolerate-
But in my opinion for the affordability Nd safety -100% recommend. No parking passes needed for residents, guests can park wherever they, lighted for safety is a plus, & when I was there 20-21 there was a courtesy officer.
To those complaining about not returned deposits or fees- it is because they paid late or left the apt looking awful. I was never charged late Nd when I left I cleaned everything except the ceiling light and I received all of my deposit back!!

Slumlords don’t live here
I lived here May 2019 to July 2024, so I feel like I am qualified to say don’t make my mistake DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES RENT FROM HERE. In the beginning it was fine. Definitely not a great place to live but it was okay. I don’t know if they got a new property manager this last year or what but it became an awful place to live. The grounds were not unkept very well. The grass was never cut, the roads had major potholes, the pillars fell over multiple times, the siding and gutters were falling off the buildings, the windows were incredibly drafty, the cleaning inside the buildings common areas was AWFUL, the laundry room was falling apart, the building as a whole was just very dirty inside and out. Snow removal went from being great to awful. Office staff as a whole went from being incredibly welcoming to incredibly rude and unpleasant to work with, especially the guy named Jeff S., but I’m not sure if this was because of management changes or because I had my black boyfriend added to my lease (2023-2024 lease) when it was time to renew. Rent continued to be jacked up every year when there were no improvements being made to the property. The pool was closed for months. The “workout room” is pathetic. When I moved out they over charged me for repairs and made stuff up, then argued with me about it. I did not get any deposit back for a clean apartment upon move out, and they said I owed them money. I moved out at the beginning of the month and they charged me for the entire months rent and made me responsible for the utilities for the entire month, just to turn around and re-rent the apartment a week after I moved out. I had to fight with MidAmerican to change my end service date so I wasn’t paying someone else’s utilities because they did not tell me they re-rented the apartment until the next month. MidAmerican said they couldn’t do anything and to take it up with the Kimberly Club and the Kimberly club is pretending they did nothing wrong. This place is definitely not worth the money. If you want awful service, live in any of Barker’s complexes here, otherwise go elsewhere. Screw the Kimberly Club and Barker Apartments.

I lived at the Kimberly apartments for 20 months and I would say it was great . Very quiet community and maintenance was literally within 24hrs or same day depending on the time you put in the work order ! Staff was always friendly and respectful at every interaction. Definitely would recommend!!!

Nice place, neat, clean, orderly and quiet. My only complaint was the somewhat worn carpet.

Was out of town and complex could not help me with a package that was delivered to make sure that it wasn’t stolen as this complex has some theft. Very disappointed in their customer service as they did nothing to help. Ruined my living experience here and will not be coming back

I enjoyed my time here. I had two minor issues for maintenance and they responded the same day. No rodents or noise problems. No problems walking my dog at 2am either. The only reason I moved out is because I left the area for work.

If your apply conform from Kimberly club apartments, you will be lucky. I lived here almost 4 and half years. I given 5 star. Thank you Kimberly club manegment. Good luck

Just moved here! The apartments are nice and the staff are super friendly! Jeff is the one that’s been helping me the most and he’s very patient and always open to answering questions!

My family and I came to live at the Kimberly Club apartments and enjoyed living there for a little over a year. It is a very quiet place with all services working excellently. The office team was attentive in responding to our maintenance requests. If at some point in the future we needed to return we would be happy to do so. Thank you very much Kimberly Club for hosting us. José

This was a very nice place to stay. The apartments are clean and very well maintained. If there were any issues they were addressed right away.
