Over the last 6 years Hy-Vee has become an overpriced Walmart. If your real lucky they might have 2 registers open but don't count on it. No more friendly smile in every aisle just messy rude store with poor management. If the gutted the corporate staff like they did the stores it might help.

I used to like their 12oz NY strip that they cut. I bought one today like the last 3 someone needs to learn how to cut straight. This last one the worst not buying a steak there again. How does a steak go from thick to skinny so many times? Who checks quality?

This is the text book example of state & county officials allowing a mediocre quality business to have a monopoly within the towns & cities of an entire state while being allowed to price gouge with absolutely no over sight.
