Amerifile is the best tax service hands down, I have been going there for years and I've always had Rebecca at the Moline office do my taxes, she is very professional but also very pleasant and friendly, I will have her do my taxes every year as long as she's there, I highly reccomend you go there and have her give you the great experience she has given me year after year.

My lady friend and I went here to file our taxes and our tax Professional Kaylee Schumaker assisted us tremendously in our filing! She LITERALLY only took 10 minutes! SERIOUSLY!Very impressed with her knowledge of her craft as well as her professionalism with how she conducts herself & with what she does!!A true humble & personable professional!!I don’t even write reviews, but man..she was fantastic!Once again her name is Kaylee Schumaker!!

*****DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT GO HERE*****I'm so tired of dealing with these incompetent people. I've been going back and forth with them about my amended tax return for 2021 for over a year now. They have failed to submitt it FOUR TIMES. They claim they've tried to reach out to me but that's a lie because I have no missed calls or messages from them. They will never accept responsibility for their mistakes. Consider yourself warned.

This place is an absolute scam. They said I would be getting back $2000. The next day left me a message saying they needed my childs information again. I was unavailable to call them back, so my ex-wife did and gave them my sons info. They claimed it was entered wrong (they entered it wrong, not me) and I would only be getting back $500 instead of $2000. So instead of the $1800 I was to get with a $200 service fee, I was refunded $300 with a still $200 service fee. I never gave them permission to file with any such change to my refund, nor would I have paid $200 just to get $300 back. This place is an all out scam. DO NOT BE A VICTIM of their greed.

This place should be shutdown and audited. They are a greedy manipulative business. After screwing up my taxes, filing a return that I did not give consent to file, they lied to me about a large return, charged me accordingly, refunded me a small amount, and still kept the outrageous service charge. Jim, the man I talked too, hung up on me when I was speaking to him about this. These people should be jailed for fraud.

Looks like the 1 star reviews are piling up! Dropped of my W-2 a month ago and went in today, twice, to see what was takingSo long. They denied I had ever been there and basically called me a liar! They eventually found it, yet were unapologetic and refused to take accountability for their obvious shortcomings. She claimed to have called my number numerous times, yet when I came back for the third time that day, my number was written on the form they previously claimed to not have! Save yourself some time and money and go next door to Freeman. Karen is a saint compared to these “ladies” and cheaper too!

They were great the first year I went here. Second year they screwed me over completely. Wanted to charge $500! When they messed up multiple things causing a huge delay and didn't even have the woman we made an appointment with do our taxes but someone with very little experience who submitted everything before it was even done. The owner wanted to "cut the price in half" so $250 for terrible service and even worse filing. By far the worst tax place I've been to.

If I could give 0 stars I would. DO NOT GO HERE. They've messed up my 2021 taxes 3 times and still have not filed the amendment. They then decided to wait a month to tell me they were missing something. I've been waiting almost a year for them to file my ammendment which if they'd done their job, in the first place, they wouldn't of had to amend anything! ???

I will stick with Nikki Booker next time like I’ve done the previous years. Something was done wrong on my tax return this year when I clearly only wrote down I was claiming 1 dependent and gave only 1 SSC not sure if I was put as head of house when I clearly live alone with my kids. Not a fan of the business this year at all honestly not sure if I’ll return
