Went in for passport pick for our 10.5 month old twins and they were less than thrilled. The workers and the manager stepped up and helped to get some great pics with some cookie rewards lol. Thank you goes to the manager who opened a bag of cookies on his dime and rewarded them with yummies. (I tried to pay for the cookies and they refused $$) great work Walgreens, this man is a keeper!

Consumer beware! We ordered some items via their app. Many were buy one get one 50% off. Cutely enough, they only had 1 of some items as they were "out of stock" for the second item. I figured, okay they will discount the 1st (and only item?) they had in stock. No! They charge full price for the first item--in effect a 25% markup. For example, if I were purchasing an item that costs $10 and it was a BOGO 50% off, then 2 items would cost $15 or $7.50 each. However, if they don't have the other item in stock you get to pay full price. This is at least misrepresentation, at most false advertising. Walgreens needs to fix this!!!

I have only written 1 or 2 negative reviews in my life, but the Management at Walgreens on Broadway and Frank Streets needs to take a serious look at two areas: 1) I have told at least 4 different employees at the prescription windows that there are errors in my file on the computer. EVERY PERSON HAS SAID, "O.K., I HAVE TAKEN CARE OF THAT FOR YOU." Until it happens again; so I go in and ask for the status of the change and find out nothing has been entered. Either the people have no interest in doing computer-entry work or the I.T. personnel at Walgreens have to examine their computers. I can't tell you the number of times the computers do not respond properly to what I had set them up to do. 2) The operators on the phone need to have serious training on good manners and customer service. I have tried to talk with several of the people about a matter that keeps coming up repeatedly with the phone-in of prescriptions and have generally been treated rudely for no reason at all. I AM THIS CLOSE TO SENDING MY BUSINESS BACK TO HY VEE AFTER 5 YEARS WITH WALGREENS!

Perhaps this is related to issues during the pandemic, but have had a number of issues where a loved one has had repeated issues getting all their medicine, repeatedly is missing items that is critical to their wellbeing. And this becomes hours of travel in a day from their rural home to this, the nearest pharmacy.

Mom needed things from the drug store but she had to stay home because of the COVID-19 restrictions. She called this Walgreens and the wonderful lady (Karen) who answered the phone took her order. One item wasn't in stock when the rest of the order was picked up. Karen went the extra mile and, when the item was available, dropped it off out of the goodness of her heart. Mom really appreciated it.

Dropped off a prescription, then they said we don't have your insurance. (they filled a prescription earlier that day)We go in to give a copy of our prescription card. Then they say our computer is down so we can't enter your info, so we leave our copy of the card they can enter when system is working. Next day we call they inform us we don't have that medicine. we ask, does the the other Walgreens have it, yes we will transfer your prescription to them. 10 mins later we get a call, we need insurance info. We called the first and asked if they entered the info we left with them, they said apparently not. We asked could you enter it now " we don't have it " . The workers at this pharmacy are garbage.

I had both of my young daughters so decided to go through the drive thru. Apparently they have to transcribe their electronically delivered prescriptions from another system to paper. Well when I got there, they hadn't looked at the system for awhile so they asked me to come back in 15 minutes. 15 minutes later I pulled up to the outer lane waited another 15 minutes to get up there then they tell me they still have to mix the medicine and they can't send it through the tube so I have to pull up to the first lane. Of course in the 5 minutes this takes to tell me, 4 other cars pull up. I should have told them to come bring it out (like fast food would do) because I pull a U-turn and wait another fifteen minutes in line for them to hand it to me. A 5 minute process took 45 minutes..
