Great nails, bad service. Did a wonderful job Thursday on my nails. The polish however wore significantly overnight, chipping in multiple places. No big deal to me, I just ran in to have them fix them, however the lady then told me it was my fault, I must of done something and she could help me in 4 hours or even better two days. In the meantime I'm left with some chipped and some completely unpolished nails for our Saturday wedding plans. Id just go ahead and drive a little further to Mia Nails. They got me in right away even though they were slammed and fixed a problem that wasn't even theirs!

I would not recommend Star Nails for their services! Today there were 3 people upset by the GOUGING prices. People that wanted pedicures pick the package of $55 (least expensive) then they charge so much for gel and any type of preference. So what was agreed and selected at $55 ended up being $80 plus tax, OK? No not OK PEOPLE. Quote a standard price and STICK WITH IT! I've never heard of a $80 pedicure. One client walked out at this absurd pricing. How did the price go from $55 to $80 plus tax? Nothing was included in the pricing that you pick from. Others clients were so surprised by quotes as well. I listened so most definitely made sure I was asking prices before getting my toes worked on. Color change (with no pedi) was $30 and full set $55 plus Tax equals $90! Won't return. Price Gouging is NOT OK! Don't know how they will stay in business with these tactics.

Dear lord if I could give this place negative stars! My mother and aunt went yesterday afternoon. My mom called before hand to get prices. Was quoted about $150 for all they wanted. And once they were at the register the woman charged them $250! They spent the whole time BLATANTLY talking about them. They burnt my aunts foot so bad from the water she has a burn mark on the bottom of her foot. They screwed up my moms nails and made them way too short. My aunt has nail polish all over one of her toes. This place is a joke. My mother came home in tears.

Edited to reflect the last experiences I've had. Some of the techs are great and some of the techs are not so great. I've had a few cut my cuticles too short on my hands and feet. Some techs rush and others take their time. On average I would spend 3 hours here for. Mani/pedi. Not everyone has that much time on their hands. They do decent work but not to the expense of what they charge. Every thing is an extra charge. You want an accent nail? Extra $5 for each nail. You want 2 different colors? Extra $10. Get a design for your accent nail? $5 each nail.By the time you're done, your $60 mani/pedi combo could be $100. $60 is just for the basic but add a shellac mani/pedi? You're starting at $80 and just going up from there. There are many other nail salons that do better work and charge only half of what this place charges. They receive 2 ? ONLY because every other place I've tried powder dip at chipped within days. Their powder dip and application always lasted from 4-6 weeks.

My wife went to have her mother’s day pedicure and The women who did her toes were rough and tried to say my wife picked a different color and when my wife told her it was the wrong one and tried to have it switched the lady told her “no” and my wife was texting me the entire time on how uncomfortable she was after that. The lady ended up changing it and then started to act nicer once the pedicure was closer to being done. My wife will NOT be returning here.Service: Pedicure

I went in to get my nails done fro prom and was completely disappointed. It first started off with them telling me that they didn't have any rose gold. Then it continued to go down hill when as he was painting my nails he only put one coat of glitter on so it was very spoltchy and doesn't look good at all. When they put the Matt top coat on and I put it under the uv light it felt like my finger tips were burning off. When my mom came over and told me that my nails looked good he told my mom that I was being difficult. I hadn't said anything to him, my hands were relaxed and wasn't doing anything to be "difficult". My toes looked good but my finger nails don't look good at all. I have to go and get them redid somewhere else. And my nails were 105 without tip.Services: Acrylic nails

I would give this place zero stars if I could this is literally the most expensive place for the worst nails. Do NOT go here. You'll regret it.

I started going to Star Nails earlier this year. I was only disappointed with one of the employee's work but all the other times have been great! The last couple of times have been with Cindy and she is wonderful! Here is a pic of her latest work, I am absolutely in love with it!!!

My best friend and I went to get our nails done. We asked prices ahead of time and at first they were friendly and had lots of information. I asked about a color and got immediately asked “are you sure? It’s expensive”. After getting my nails done, I had noticed that a couple of fingers were bleeding from the drill. I politely asked for a paper towel and the tech immediately started applying liquid labeled alcohol, and some blue gel that burned like FIRE.When I said that I was unhappy with my service, they told me that they can’t refund me without removing my nails. I waited 45 minutes for the manager to arrive just to be told if I wanted a refund then I could sit down and she would remove my nails for me.I was really excited about this place and the fact that it sucked was disappointing to say the least.Service: Manicure

Pros-They mostly do a good job on pedicures.Friendly staff, some communication issues with different language barrier.Massage chairs are okay but need updating, they don't always work.Cons-Need a better ventilation system, it has a strong odor of nail polish fumes.Pricing is sorta steep, was charged $300 for 2 adult pedicures.
