Sporting Goods in Council Bluffs, IA

“Solid selection of Iowa team gear. Joe, behind the register was pleasant to interact with. Could do WITHOUT all the Nebraska items. For a store located in Iowa, cant agree with seeing all of the Nebraska or Creighton items. I understand Council Bluffs is directly adjacent to Omaha, Nebraska...but shoppers have PLENTY of places to find that stuff in Omaha.

One suggestion......the whole world isnt filled with men who wear XL or smaller. There are some men who require a bigger size! 98% of the clothing in the store will not fit me. Very disappointing that sizes barely reach 2x in the store. My suggestion, ditch all the Nebraska & Creighton items, and replace that with larger sizes of Iowa gear. I suppose you can throw a little bit of Iowa State stuff in there as well. They have a couple of fans also, I guess.”

“Very clean establishment ..I was asked if I needed assistance by pretty much every employee..great customer service they are very helpful and don't try to push sales on you making your shopping experience very easy and fun I will definitely return here”

“I got my first pistol here. I walked in with minimal knowledge but an idea of what I was looking for. They walked me through the whole thing. Offered ways to occupy my time in the building while waiting for my background check. Really friendly and educated in their area.”

“Needed ice for our cooler so I asked him to stop here because I preferred to get reusable cold packs since he uses his cooler a lot. Once he used frozen burritos - for real. So I decided to put an end to that and get reusable ice packs. The store is large and had different areas for sports gear and athletic wear. I don't know if they were rearranging their items but there were empty spaces here and there in the store. I found what I needed and went to check out. There was a line but I didn't have to wait long. The cashier was friendly and I would come back if I needed something else.”
