The people are nice. I like the walk-in system, but it is a little chaotic. I think there is some confusion because I know I get there before some people, yet they get to go before me. Again, this is all walk-ins. I also have a little bit of an issue with cats roaming as my dog is not accustomed to cats, so he gets really excited and as a big boy, hard to calm down. We end up sitting in our car usually, which might be why we get passed over. Our wait is usually 1-2hrs. Overall, everyone is pretty nice and we get what we need for our pup.

I have been taking Aiko here for a year since I have had her. Usually I don't have issues however when I took her here this time the blonde at the desk is not friendly and doesn't listen to what you need done so not everything was done. As well as the tech didn't seem to be experienced enough to handle a scared animal as Aiko is a very sensitive dog! I am not happy with the experience this and since no bothered to care or contact me after a complaint I will take my business elsewhere!! I have never been treated so poorly!! Screw you!!

Years ago we had visited this vet & did not care for the care the rude people at the desk and the vet care. A couple of years ago our dog had gotten bit and needed care. This vet worked her in & I could not believe how caring, thorough & friendly everyone was, also the cost was very comparable or better than other vets. We have brought our dog here since then & the care is phenomenal. Thank you all for the great care you provide!

We have been taking our pets here for 20 years. I always know they have our animal's best interests at heart. The no appointment policy is convenient most of the time. However, is frustrating not to know how long taking them for a visit is going to take.

We love coming here for their hospitality but we came in for a simple routine check up and we have been in the waiting room for 3 hrs waiting patiently and they totally forgot about us. Just really frustrating when we are trying to care for our pets who are hurting and we understand it's busy so we wait but 3 hrs is ridiculous.

Unfortunately my visit wasn't for happy reasons. My family's 16 year old beagle was unable to walk and hadn't eaten in two days. I took him into his vet without an appointment and struggled to even speak the words. The receptionist was amazing in understanding my choked up words and gestures. She even gave me tissues without asking. When they called, I brought him in and took him back to see the vet tech. Everyone was so helpful. They talked us through cremation and paw print options. They gave us as much time as we needed with him before and after. They even told us several times that we could leave after and pay later or when we pick up the cremation. I now live in Omaha, but I certainly would recommend this vet for anyone living in CB. They are very caring and understanding. For years they gave my best friend top notch care.

every time I bring my animals in wether its the littlest thing or life saving the staff is always kind and caring. extremely professional and treat your fur babies like they are their own

I was treated very rude as soon as I went there, I had my dogs teeth cleaned and her nails trimmed and spent almost $300 witch is not a huge deal but when i picked up my dog her paws were bloody and still actively bleeding because they cut off half of her quick( wich is essentially her toes) they did not tell me there were gonna be performing this barbaric act as o would have never agreed also my dog was covered in dried fecal matter an was beeing housed in really unsanitary and unfit for use conditions in the back when i went back there to get her i was in utter disbelief. And when i spoke to the vet about this all he had to say was “ i dont know what to tell you” i will never use this place again and I strongly recommend you dont take you pets there

We've been going to Council Bluffs Veterinary Clinic for nearly 20 years. Love the doctors and the staff! I can't say enough about this clinic and everyone who works here.
