Just called to see if they offered a certain service and the lady didn't let me know if they could help me only that they were booked up until Monday. I said ok thanks I'll try back on Monday and she just hangs up the phone without saying anything. Needless to say I won't be following up on Monday now

We were on a 2100 mile road trip from Los Angeles to my home in Michigan. We broke down in Council Bluffs, Iowa because the car is over 20 years old. We decided to get the car fixed at Honest Auto because a highway helper recommended them to us.We broke down on the highway on Friday and ended up having to get it towed and then stay the weekend in Iowa since this place didn't open till Monday.Monday morning we took an Uber to Honest Auto and explained our situation to the receptionist, Kristi. The Owner, Larry, ended up working on our car immediately because they wanted to get us back on the road as quickly as possible. They replaced the fuel pump by lunch, but when Larry drove it out of the shop the steering was completely off.The car was brought back in and inspected. Turns out when we got our car towed, the tow-truck driver (not at all affiliated with Honest Auto) had bent our tie rods on one side when he attached the tow hook. The part needed to be replaced but if it was ordered now it would've arrived 2 days later. Instead, Larry, welded the inner and outer together and straightened it at no charge! This was just a temporary fix so that we could get home and we are going to get these parts replaced in Michigan (with the Tow company paying for it).We got back on the road and drove the car for 9 hours straight. The steering was completely straight and we got home in the middle of the night.They were so helpful. The receptionist, Kristi was so nice and even called us the next day to check that we arrived safely. Larry was very knowledgable and really good at his job, our tire was realigned perfectly after he welded it.I would 100% recommend this place. This is probably the best repair shop I've ever been too, and I would definitely get the car fixed there again if they were located in Michigan.Services: Steering & suspension repair

Larry’s shop is the best in town, he is verygood at diagnostics which is key, anyone can change parts. He is a Very fair honest man. Highly recommend him to all my Friends and family.

My significant other took her car here to have the ac serviced. She paid over $500 for the repair after them having it for 2 days. Got it back and the ac still didn’t work, so I tried to call but after repetitively being hung up on when asking about it or being met with terrible customer we took it some where else to pay another $1200 to have the ac actually fixed. I cannot put into words how amazing the staff at Honest Auto have been this past week helping me out. Car repairs are probably the most frustrating and unplanned expense people will ever have to deal with and yet the people at Honest Auto not only understand this, but go out of their way to see what they can do to help you. I have been having issues with my car and Chris, one of the repair guys, went out of his way to help me figure out what wrong, diagnose it, and get it fixed. He was transparent with my car issues and what the pricing would be before he did any work to my car. I also was able to play him a video of the vibration noises in my vehicle and he took the time to take my car out himself and drive it so that way he could properly diagnose what the vibration was so we could come up with a plan to get it fixed. He also took the time to listen to my long-winded concerns and empathized with what I was going through. He was extremely nice and to the point with what needed done.Kristi, who handles appointment scheduling, billing, and probably a lot more than what I am giving her credit for in this review, is the best to work with as well. When I told her my issues with my extended warranty, she politely gave me her contact information to email her over my extended warranty plan and then went to work to see if any of the repairs that needed done was covered. She goes out of her way to make you feel at ease when you have to come to an auto repair shop and totally understands how frustrating dealing with insurance can be. She is a Pitbull and will go to bat for you when it comes to handling anything insurance-related.Honest Auto just gained a lifetime customer. I went to two other auto repair shops in town, before Honest Auto, and they did not fix what was wrong with my car. At Honest Auto, they will find out what is wrong with your car and let you know what needs to be fixed, what can wait, and so forth. This review doesn't even begin to describe how truly appreciative that I am to have found them in Council Bluffs. I will not go anywhere else.I did my due diligence and read each google review and all the good things that people said about them is 100% correct.Thank you guys again! God bless you!

Hands down the BEST, MOST KNOWLEDGEABLE, HONEST, MOST REASONABLE mechanic in Council Bluffs or Omaha area hands down !!! If you're a single girl and don't have a clue he will treat you with respect and will not take advantage of you, not knowing what is wrong with your ride. Larry is awesome this single has been going to him approx 15 years ALWAYS BEEN TREATED FAIRLY!!!

It really is hard to find good & honest mechanics these days. The brakes went out in my H3 Hummer & they did an amazing job fixing it at a fair price. I couldn't be any happier with the service I received from Christy the receptionist to Chris the mechanic who fixed my truck. I usually don't write reviews.... but businesses like this that do things right, are honest & take care of their customer at a fair price are rare & hard to find. That's why I'm posting this 5 star review because they earned it & deserve to be recognized for that integrity. Thank You Honest Auto Repair!!! You've definitely earned a return customer

Honest Auto lives up to their name. They are always the best price around, the service is always great, they warranty their work and do not suggest any repairs that are not necessary. We have gone to them for several large repairs and some small service work, every time I am pleased with the outcome and final cost. Most recently they performed a repair on my wife's van, even using OEM parts, they still came in at half the price of what the dealership was quoting us. I will continue to use and recommend Honest Auto.

We have been using Honest Auto for 5 years and with 4 cars. Larry is the best mechanic there is. They fix what needs to be fixed and are honest, as their name implies. Any auto repair center that has to tell you they are honest in the name is anything but. A friend of mine took her car in to find a leak in the cooling system they changed houses and the overflow tank at a cost of $552 without calling and asking. And they still didn’t find the leak the car left the shop the same way it got there on the back of a tow truck. I suggest before bringing a car in go elsewhere. I think your local back yard mechanics are better mechanics and more honest.
