Day 1: 5 Stars! Met with salesman Jason and he had the car I was interested in already pulled up front and ready for a test drive. He was awesome, friendly, informative, and explained how the bargain center worked. Excellent overall experience. It's a 30-minute drive for me to get there, and he was ready. It was raining so hard the potential for hydroplaning was real, I decided to wait until the weather got better before I drove a strange car in limited visibility from Council Bluffs to Waterloo (Elkhorn) where my trusted mechanic shop is located.Day 2: 0 Stars! Next day I call to arrange to take the vehicle to my mechanic for a pre-sale inspection. Jason was off work, and kindly volunteered to call "Bart" to have things ready when I arrived so I would be able to make the appointment time scheduled with the mechanic. When I arrived, Bart was busy with another customer, and the car was not ready. No one was sure where the keys were, where the car was, it took a bit. Finally, they were ready.Another salesman brought the car up and left it running. I went out to take it, but he needed a copy of my license. Of course, no worries. But, he didn't know how to use the machine and was trying to fax. Someone tried to help him. Another salesman came over and told me this wasn't how this works, first I need to test drive the car, then set something up. Had to explain. The first guy with the car key returns and asks for my insurance card. I don't have it on me, but might be in my Jeep. I search, but literally, had JUST picked up my Jeep from getting a new clutch. It was in service station for about a week, so I had removed the garage door opener, and pretty much every personal item from the car and having just picked it up, nothing was inside. I went back inside the building and since my guy was nowhere around, I asked the saleman behind the desk if he could just call my agent and have them give him the info or fax whatever is needed, I'm starting to run out of time. He directed me to discuss with my saleman, I said he's off today, so they lead me to the back of the store and pull out a chair for me to "sit". I don't want to sit, I have an appointment scheduled for the car to be inspected and I need to get this all handled so I can be punctual. The salesman with the key returned and I told him the insurance card wasn't in the vehicle but..... and was interrupted with "well, then ain't gonna let you drive that car without it".OK.... BYE! Almost 3 hours of my old life WASTED here. I'm that rare customer looking specifically and only for a manual transmission car, and I finally found one, but not here. They had a for-sure sale and a customer that didn't even need financing approval. Unfortunately, their cars head to auction after 60 days, so I don't think they actually care.I think the original salesman Jason was lovely, responsive, and I have a feeling everything would have gone perfectly had he been there that day. I certainly did not get any "warm fuzzies" from anyone else the next day.In general when buying used cars, let me offer a small bit of advice: Used cars, legally speaking, are almost always sold AS-IS. Make sure that you have a great mechanic that will inspect the vehicle for you before you finalize a purchase. Although it's no guarantee, knowing up front what your potential maintenance or fixes are going to cost, you may be able to negotiate the price, and you might be able to budget to take care of those anticipated needs. It might be the best $50 bucks you'll ever spend, and can save you a real headache being broke down.

I worked with Bart who listened to all of my questions and concerns! As a first time car buyer with NO credit I didn't know what i was doing or where to start all i knew was i was in a rock in a hard place and needed a reliable vehicle for myself and my child! Bart recommended a clean nice riding car that appears so clean interior and exterior wise you almost wouldn't know it was used! It rides smooth and is quiet! I love it and I appreciate Bart and his willingness and determination to be a relist and work with me in many aspects to get me into something new! Hes a great worker, very personable, quick on his feet and very knowledgeable to the best of his abilities with the information and resources provided and I will recommend him and the bargain center to any family and friends i know looking to get into a new vehicle with great customer service amazing workman ship and great communication! Keep up the good work Bartolicious!! Ill be back in a few months to update my fiances vehicle!

I went and paid almost 2000 grand for one of their used vehicles which was a 1999 Buick Century, I didn't have a problem with it being an older vehicle though I thought that was a little pricey but I was running out of options. I was totally honest and let them know I could not afford to get ripped off on a vehicle because I have stage 4 lung cancer and also help take care of my cousin because he has brain damage and etc. Like I get that it's as is but at some point you have to do the right thing especially with what I was honest about. The car pretty much broke down not even 2 weeks later. I called several people and all I kept getting told is you bought it as is, I get that but still that is just wrong after I was honest about how important this car was gonna be. Just sad no car now to get myself or my cousin to our appointments for our health. I guess that is ok because y'all came up in 2000!!! Just sad seriously

Bart Taylor was an excellent consultant, he did not let me walk away empty handed. My needs were met, they were polite and helpful. They made sure I was set before driving off the lot and I recommend you to stop in and meet the crew. They’ll take care of you like they did myself. I’m a happy buyer.

I recently purchased a very well maintained and meticulously maintenanced supercharged 3.8 liter V6 2004 Chevy Impala SS with 142,000 miles. Sticker price was $4,900, and I drove it off the lot free and clear for $3,500. Every single feature available on this version of SS and in this one specifically is in good working order, both standard and add-on as well as mechanical and electrical. Unfortunately, only a week after driving it off the lot, the engine throws a rod. So might as well say I paid $4500 for it after a new motor and labor.

Great buying experience with Dexter and Mike. Bought with cash, got a GREAT deal. Everything was quick, honest, and transparent. Straight down to business! I would recommend this place to anyone in need of an affordable vehicle. Note that these vehicles are sold without any sort of warranty, and you might have to look through a couple to find one that doesn't need any major work, but they are priced accordingly and mostly very reasonably.

My kids and I now have a safe, reliable vehicle to travel in. I appreciate you all so much!! ☺️

Our salesman, William, was extremely helpful and honest about the truck. Even though I have only had the truck for 2 days, I am very happy with it. I will definitely let people know that Edward's is a good place to look for a vehicle.

Jalen listened to what I wanted/needed, let me make a giant list of maybes and then patiently waited as I -we drove through my list. Thankfully, #3 was the magic! Highly recommend. Finance process was the quickest I have ever experienced. Thanks to Cliff for answering the questions about the process to license. Just go. Walk the lot. Drive. You will find what fits for you!

This dealership is rude and very unwilling to work with you. The sales team works hard to upsell some type of package for the paint of the vehicle and then adds it to your paperwork without asking if you want it or not. Then, when terms couldn't be agreed upon, we said that we would have to walk away and proceeded to leave. As we were walking out of the building, the salesman said "I'll go get my manager and see if he is willing to just give the car away." The manager and the salesman followed us to our car and continued to try and pressure us into a deal that we said no to. We held our ground and said we were going to keep looking, to which their response was "This is the best car that you could get in your budget, you won't find better for the amount of money you are willing to spend." Mind you our budget was $10,000-15,000, so it wasn't an outrageously low budget. I will never go back here and highly recommend they work on their customer service interactions. My mother-in-law purchased a vehicle from here back in May. They also lied to her about the A/C. She told them that she wasn't interested without a working A/C, and they responded with "Oh it just needs recharged." Opened the hood and then showed her where the port was - only the port they showed her wasn't the port for the A/C recharge. She bought it thinking it was a $50 fix, took it to get recharged, only to find out it's a $400 fix because it was a hose that was clearly bad (and if it was inspected the way they claim, clearly would've been seen).Overall, two negative experiences in my family in a month span with different salesman. Highly recommend ANYWHERE else.

Last month we purchased a 2006 Volvo S60. The asking price of $3000 was reasonable. The sales rep , Michael Pruett, did a good job keeping up with me as I worked my way through the lot evaluating other vehicles. We drove the vehicle to the Volvo dealership where they were able to do an initial evaluation. Anyone purchasing a used car should plan on putting money into it and we had budgeted putting several thousand dollars into it. The only thing that takes away from the perfect rating is we were told the car was already titled in Nebraska. Turns out the car ended up being titled in Iowa which means we needed to have it inspected. Not a big deal, but it is worth mentioning.

My daughter needed a work truck. She and her fiancé are just starting out and don’t want any debt. I appreciated the straight forward honest way that Carlos worked with us. He was upfront about the as-is policy for the bargain vehicles. And we left with a solid vehicle to get her on her way.
