I had a breakdown/transmission failure during a cross country move.
Of course such a thing is difficult and stressful but I consider myself fortunate to have been directed to Brent Tripp and his team at Certified in Council Bluffs.
At first I felt wary, as one might be a thousand plus miles from home, but Brent quickly put me at ease.
They communicated with my long time mechanic in Maryland which gave me great comfort.
I felt their concern for my timetable and needs but most of all I felt a genuine caring for my safety and the viability of my 19 year old car. I knew they wanted to get me to my new home in Seattle safely and that personal care really moved me.
When I picked up my ride, Brent and I struck up a comfortable conversation as if we were old friends.
Such service is rare and I cannot oversell how delighted I was to have found my way to him and his team during a difficult time.
I am happy to report I was able to finish my journey without further issue. All thanks to the good honest service I received from Mr. Tripp and the hardworking gang at Certified Transmission in Council Bluffs.

We had such a positive experience with Certified Transmission! Everyone there was very friendly and helpful. They gave us a ride after dropping our car off, and had it fixed sooner than expected! Highly recommend!

Very happy with my experience there. Brent and Kelly are very good at what they do. I have a Mercedes that my regular mechanics wanted nothing to do with. All I needed was a fluid and filter change. As I said, two shops wanted nothing to do with it. Brent and Kelly took it on and all seems to be perfect. No leaks and the trans shifts smooth as butter. Will definitely go back for any future service.

They had exceptional customer service! I had just bought a used vehicle from a dealership and while I was driving it I noticed it was losing power and not shifting right I called them and they had it looked at and told me everything that was wrong with it within the hour, and they were able to make it so I could return the vehicle bc it had lots of issues! Thank you Kelly for your understanding in the situation and helping me through the process of returning the car with a full refund.

I'd had my car in 3 different shops before taking it to Certified Transmission always with the same result, Certified Transmission after a couple of days was able to find to what the other shops couldn't, they fixed the problem and haven't had any since.

I’m from St. Louis and was working in Council Bluffs. The transmission went out when I was heading home. The staff got my truck in as fast as they could. They were very helpful. I even got a ride to a car rental place so I could get a car and head home.
