They provide price estimates for all their work and do everything they can to try and keep you on the road but also save you some money. “I've had my Honda Odyssey in here twice. They weren't my "usual" shop, but when my regular mechanic was off work for and extended period of time due to medical issues, my alternator went out. After calling around to a few different shops in the area, these folks were one of the only ones in town who could take a look at it within a week. Everyone I encountered there was courteous and professional even in the midst of very a very busy time (phone must've rung 5 times while I was there). The work they did was good and when I encountered issues with the alternator again within the allotted warranty, they got my vehicle in right away and remedied the issue. Will definitely be back for more work in the future. Good work done at a fair price with great customers service (which seems to be a rarity these days).”

“I’ve been coming here for years, yes they get busy and you have to wait. Great job, wasn’t in a hurry for a change, they were super busy, dropped off my rims got new tires within a couple of hours. I use this shop exclusively, Bob and front service staff are great, this shop not only does tires but mechanical also.”
“Went in to get the oil changed in my fusion and it was a fast process. The only problem I had was i noticed my car smelled like burning oil that same day drove it to work the next day and when I got to work I noticed I had oil pouring out the bottom of my car. I immediately took it back to them and they found the oil filter o ring had a cut in it. They fixed it and refunded me the money I spent to put oil in it to get it back there. I don’t think this had anything to do with them or the shop at all. They told me next time I come there I get a free oil change on them. I am thankful they went out of the way to take care of the problem everyone was super nice. I’ll be back for sure”

“The folks at Triple L Transmission are very friendly and great to work with. They were fast, and communication was good and the repair seems to be of good quality. I was really taken back by their hourly labor rate, though. Be aware that you will be paying $115 per hour for labor alone. The national average is between $80-$100, and in the Midwest we wouldn't normally be on the high end for such things. Just information to use as you will.”

“I brought my 85 el camino in to have the transmission rebuilt. The car sat for about 27 years and I wanted to get it on the road again. Harry was upfront about the cost and the time to repair. He told me everything he saw wrong and that I should fix. He told me about the repair and a couple of items he had to fix to get the transmission working. I'm happy with the service and I would take my vehicle to them anytime.”

“We were on a 2100 mile road trip from Los Angeles to my home in Michigan. We broke down in Council Bluffs, Iowa because the car is over 20 years old. We decided to get the car fixed at Honest Auto because a highway helper recommended them to us.We broke down on the highway on Friday and ended up having to get it towed and then stay the weekend in Iowa since this place didn't open till Monday.Monday morning we took an Uber to Honest Auto and explained our situation to the receptionist, Kristi. The Owner, Larry, ended up working on our car immediately because they wanted to get us back on the road as quickly as possible. They replaced the fuel pump by lunch, but when Larry drove it out of the shop the steering was completely off.The car was brought back in and inspected. Turns out when we got our car towed, the tow-truck driver (not at all affiliated with Honest Auto) had bent our tie rods on one side when he attached the tow hook. The part needed to be replaced but if it was ordered now it would've arrived 2 days later. Instead, Larry, welded the inner and outer together and straightened it at no charge! This was just a temporary fix so that we could get home and we are going to get these parts replaced in Michigan (with the Tow company paying for it).We got back on the road and drove the car for 9 hours straight. The steering was completely straight and we got home in the middle of the night.They were so helpful. The receptionist, Kristi was so nice and even called us the next day to check that we arrived safely. Larry was very knowledgable and really good at his job, our tire was realigned perfectly after he welded it.I would 100% recommend this place. This is probably the best repair shop I've ever been too, and I would definitely get the car fixed there again if they were located in Michigan.Services: Steering & suspension repair”
“Very good people! Very honest! They helped us make our trip back home after being stranded after our home repair shop didn’t tighten our brake caliper bolts correctly. They replaced everything and checked the condition of the rest of the calipers to be sure we made a safe trip home! A real godsend! 100 percent recommend! Honest and safe!”
“We had work done on our truck. Rust on the cab corners and rockers cut out and replaced. Not knowing who and where to go we checked a few auto body businesses. They were the only ones who took the time to look at it and write out what the costs would be. Everyone else just told us how much for each side. Which helped with the decision making process. Will use again if needed, ( hopefully not).”
