My family and I got our hair done at Viv's Hair Hut today. Truly above and beyond with, not only quality hair styling, but great customer service. You can tell Viv Davis is in this business for the customer and not just to make another dollar.

Viv has been doing my hair for YEARS. I love the new location down in Promise City, although the salon in Coralville was really nice. Their new location is so pretty, out by the lake, and Viv always goes above and beyond for her customers. She is just so willing to do anything she can to make sure I like my new hair style, and make sure the colors look like how I want. Viv is just the best and I am happy to travel to have her always do my hair!

After recently moving to Iowa City I decided to cut my hair after years of letting it grow. I am afraid to let just anybody cut my hair due to terrible experiences at chain salons in the past. I googled salons in my area and after sifting through multiple places, decided to try Viv's Hair Hut based on all the great reviews. Best hair-related decision I've made!
The atmosphere is inviting and relaxing and Viv made me feel right at home. She listened to my requests and executed them perfectly! My hair came out looking exactly like I wanted. I highly recommend Viv if you're looking for a down to earth, friendly stylist who knows what she's doing! For the amazing price she truly can't be beat!

I just moved back to Iowa City and didn't know where I would get my hair cut and was dreading trying to find someone. I saw some of the online reviews and thought I would give Viv's Hair Hut a try - such a good decision!! She is easy to talk to and really knowledgeable. You will get great service for a reasonable price. Seriously, save yourself a headache and check out Viv's Hair Hut.

I've been getting my hair cut by Viv since I was kid and I can sincerely say that I have not found anyone better than her after moving away. From your basic trim to your more radical hair changes, Viv can do it all. She even did my wedding day hair! :)

I originally emailed Viv regarding my hair that was damaged at the last salon I visited. She agreed to take me on. Her salon is so fun and relaxing all in one!!!! Viv was wonderful!!!! Viv did a few deep conditioning treatments to start the recovery process. I also had a problem of grays and new growth needing fixed as well, without furthering the damage to my hair. She did a fantastic job!!! She also gave me some well needed tips on how to help my hair myself at home. Recommend!!!

I moved to Iowa City two years ago and have gone to 5 or 6 stylists. I couldn't find one that cut or colored my hair in a way that was flattering. I don't want to look like an old lady and that is what I came out looking like. I walked past Viv's house several times and decided to try her. It was a great choice! Viv has so many good ideas and is experienced in how hair lays. I loved my hair when I was done. The color was really nice and the cut very flattering. Another plus with Viv is that she is extremely reasonably priced. I spent a lot more at other salons in the area and wasn't happy. I like Viv so much that I have recommended her to my husband and kids and we all go to her now!

I have received nothing but fantastic reviews on my hair after I got it colored and cut at Viv's Hair Hut. The experience was wonderful - she made sure to meet my desires for my hair while offering her expert advice. The salon was comfortable and fun, and her company was so enjoyable. Her prices are incredible for the high quality of service! I'd recommend her to anyone.
