We dropped our completely functioning iPad off on May 4th for a crack screen and was told it would be done the next day. Never heard from them so we called on Monday, they told us the screens they got in were defective and had to order more, but it should be done by Tuesday or Wednesday. Again when we didn’t hear from them on Wednesday we called again and the told us a similar story about needing to order more screens but should be done on Friday. No word from them ever keeping us updated on it. I finally showed up on Monday and they said oh yes it’s done. The person brought it snd and was all, I don’t know why it’s doing that (looked like tv static on the screen) it worked after we replaced the screen. They said they would have to order more screens ( not sure how a place that does this as their job doesn’t have them in stock). Gave them till Wednesday (almost two weeks after we dropped it off) to either fix it or they needed to replace it. Went in on Wednesday, saw the screen for two seconds ( looked like it worked). When I picked up the iPad to see if it really worked, nothing happened when I touched the Home Screen. The person there was “ oh it must have died” me “you’ve had this for almost two weeks and you knew it didn’t work the last time I came in and you didn’t plug it in?” I said “ if this doesn’t work after I charge it, I will be back “ Paid $317 for the screen repair ( could have bought a new one for that price $ went home and charged it to find out the home button was not working and someone had place an app on the iPad to get to the Home Screen. Someone knew it didn’t work when I picked it up and said NOTHING! Took it back in the next day and they would not give a refund until they had the chance to fix it!!!! Never trust someone or a place who doesn’t keep you updated and are not honest about things!
