the worst fkn bank and the worst fkn bankers there i have ever dealt with. i will cancel my account and i will keep putti reviews. i went to open a account and the banker gave me the wrong direct deposit slip with someone else's account number. and now my paycheck is in someone else's account. the banker acted like he didn't do that. but where would i get someone else's slip from. told me they gone submit some type of form and it's gone take 2-3 business days to have it changed and my money come in my account. it have been more than 3 business days and the bankers saying it's not there fault and they cant do anything about it call the 1-800 number. fck them. the guy did it on purpose so they can get the money out of that account then the bank would have to pat it after. and the other account then figure it out. fck them mfs

Eleonora was 100% the perfect person to help us out. She was thorough and patient despite us coming in without an appointment, 45 minutes before the bank closed. Work with her, she’s great!

I've given one star because there is no option for zero stars--which is all USBank deserves. Here's my most recent experience. We had a safe deposit box at the Towncrest Branch in Iowa City for many years. In October 2020 we got a vague letter about no longer providing that service. The letter gave a deadline of less than two months to retrieve the box contents. We later learned they were closing the branch entirely, and if we didn't retrieve the contents, it would be turned over to the State of Iowa as lost property. We were out of state at the time, couldn't get back by their deadline, and we couldn't even get anyone at the bank to return our calls. The number the bank provided in their letter reached a call center, apparently in Asia, where, of course, nobody knew anything about the situation. Mail we sent to the bank was returned as undeliverable. Fortunately, we could impose on local relatives to retrieve our box contents after we had an attorney prepare an appropriate document. The bank was uncooperative at every step.

Horrible....only service is drive thru due to virus...hills bank open all /lobby /plus theirDrive thru!!!!Tried twice to use USBANK drive thru...only one lane open ...30 minute wait! I heard their other location on east side of town is closed!They cannot manage /adjust 5 months into virus.Go across the street to Hills Bank...that's what I'm doing.

Very rude customer service interaction with a teller today! My mother-in-Law was visiting over the weekend and failed to fill in the date on a check she wrote my wife and I. I was alerted to this omission by a teller and I proceeded to fill out the date myself. The teller then very curtly told me that this was improper procedure, but she would nonetheless allow it. Upon returning after completing the deposit, she slammed my card and balance receipt on the table and said “CARD AND BALANCE†in a very unncessarily hostile fashion. I unfortunately did not get the young woman's name. As a student in law school, I can appreciate someone ensuring that proper procedures are followed. However, there was no reason for her to treat me so rudely over an omission which was no fault of my own. Perhaps she was having a bad day, but this is certainly not the best way for your financial institution to build a positive rapport with the community it serves.
