“Went there for the first time during a visit to Coralville, last week. It was very clean, well organized, color coded (!!) and all the clothes had the same clear plastic hangers (if you know, you know!). Fantastic selection of clothes from high end stores. Found exactly what I was looking for and some additional bonus items. They seemed a little short staffed but the checkout line still moved quickly. I will make it a point to visit them every time I’m in town.”
“During one of our stops, we visited Iowa City to eat. There was a really cool antique store across the street the girls wanted to check out. This place had all kinds of goodies. I loved the old camera section. The kids found so many things that they thought were so cool. The amount of younger people in the store shopping for clothes and jewelry was awesome to see as well.I loved that there were little couches around the store that you could sit down and take in all of the surroundings.I highly recommend if you are in the area to stop in and see what treasures you may find.”
“Unique selection of clothing and apothecary items. Several friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff people who know the products well. Convenient downtown location.”
“Great thrifting and super nice people here as staff and volunteers. I think it’s the best place to donate items you no longer need. They have excellent systems in place and price fairly”
“I stopped by UM this weekend with the out-of-state guests I was hosting. The owner greeted us with such warmth and expertise. Beyond that, my child was invited to select a small vintage toy as a token of our visit and to allow the adults a few extra minutes of uninterrupted gander. A brilliant move!
I found an amazing vintage coat that the owner generously discounted in anticipation of a future coat sale.
You can tell the owners love what they do, love our community, and have a true talent for selecting items of importance. Such a treat to visit!”

1725 Boyrum St, Iowa City“Great thrift store deals and very friendly service. Huge parking lot and nearby other shopping. Salvation Army sells lots of clothes, games, media, books, housewares, furniture, appliances, and more. They run on your donations of items.”
“Quite nice. I was able to find a portable CD player here (the only place in town that seemed to have one) as well as dirt cheap CDs by Soul II Soul, Lisa Stansfield, and Saint Ettiene.”
“Nice older man helped make my first visit very enjoyable. Very reasonable prices and will be returning. They don't require masks after 1:00pm, so just go after that time if that's an issue for you.”
“prob the best of the stores in the franchise (have been to DSM, QC, IC, Dubuque, and CR stores over the years). be sure to check the downstairs out - especially if looking for art or furniture. though this is the best within the franchise imo, it can def be hit or miss.”
