I had an issue at night and truly experienced the best customer service of my life. Richard at front desk audit is a truly great employee who took great care of me. Richard went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect, and I could not give him a more perfect review. Excellent service from Richard and the whole staff. Our experience was perfect. Props to Richard at the front desk he was a godsend. I will be staying here again next time I visit. Thank you Richard!!

Have stayed at this location a few times, and overall really enjoy it. The lower rating is due to a strange $5 additional charge that appeared on my card a few days after checkout. Despite calls to the front desk (placed on hold, never to be picked up again) and a VM and email to the GM, my inquiry regarding this mysterious charge was never answered. I ultimately had to do a charge back on my ccard for the $5 several days later which is rather silly. So 2 out of 5 for the unnecessary lack of communication.

Fantastic. I’ve stayed here twice. Both times have been great. This time they were t above and beyond. They saved our family Thanksgiving seriously. The staff stayed late and missed their own Thanksgiving. The staff treated us like family and we will be coming back. It’s clean, modern, easy access to lots of places and near shops.

We were pretty excited to stay here as it's a beautiful hotel, but we got scammed for our $100 deposit and will NEVER return. The "manager" claimed they didn't take it, however, we have proof that they did and it still has never been refunded. The woman who checked us in was too worried about us joining their rewards program when I clearly told her no numerous times. Very annoying! It's been a vicious cycle trying to fix this issue, but if the staff can't be adult enough to own up to their stupidity then they won't have our business again.
That's not a very good response "owner". Maybe refund us the $100?

Great hotel experience. The rooms are beautiful and modern. Very comfortable and homey. Probably the best shower in a hotel I've stayed at. Staff was friendly and accommodating, going out of their way to get us an extra cot. Wish we were staying longer than 1 night.

Way too many questions when I was checking in. What are you doing in town? Where are you working? What do you do for a living? Maybe they're just trying to be kind by showing interest, but it seemed intrusive. Then checking out this morning, I get the same type of questions from 2 people at the front desk. I felt like I was being interrogated. Is the government putting them up to asking these questions? It seemed pretty orchestrated. - Beautiful hotel.

Well equipped kitchens, great variety in breakfast, clean environment, and great service. Rooms were perfect and relaxing. I appreciated the pleasant scents as I entered the facility. Convenient parking for guests. Probably our favorite hotel stay in the last 2 years. We appreciated the full size fridge and freezer available in the room.

Rooms: Spacious rooms and vert comfortable beds. This was the 8th time I've stayed here in 2024 and I shall return.

Best experience checking in with front desk J.J. Very helpful, went above and beyond with exceptional service. Great with animals. They all loved her. Hotel great location and pet-friendly. My extended stay was very accommodating.

Service was top-notch. TOP-NOTCH. Rooms were clean, the place was quiet, and the front desk accommodated me with a couple of requests during my stay for wrestling camp.
Ms. Suzey is the awesomest.

Rooms: Spacious, clean. And COLD A/C. staff always maintained my room.
Safety: Felt 100% safety at ALL times.
. Nothing was ghetto or sketchy about the hotel.
Walkability: 5 to 10 minute walks for meals and convenience stores. TARGET delivers next day or same day for 10 bucks

Convenient access to Iowa City and the university. Friendly & professional staff, clean and updated facility. I have stayed here multiple times and have been impressed each time with the service and cleanliness of rooms and common areas. Will definitely be back.
Rooms: Clean, comfortable and up to date with amenities.

Great staff good rooms. You can't beat the location
Food and drinks: Evening mixers with finger foods and beverages was a nice touch.
