2750 Heartland Dr, Coralville“This is one of my favorite Farmer's markets in the mid-west. We always go there when visiting Iowa City. The produce is outstanding and the vendors really care about their products. I bought some beets, even though I've never cooked them before. The farmer assured me I would love them and texted me a recipe for roasted beets with a balsamic/honey glaze. She said if I didn't love them she'd refund my money. I am now a beets fan?. Also picked up some locally made artisanal hot sauce. WOW, so good it blew my mind, both literally and figuratively ?”

760 Ruppert Rd, Iowa City“ALDI is a great addition to the variety of grocery stores in Iowa City. There are unique foods and great values that make it popular for regular return visits. The store is small enough that parking is usually available close to the door.”
“A good quick get away from the city's noise. Bought apple turnover and sparkling cider. Then enjoyed the snack at the outdoor benches facing the farm. Just relaxing. The apple turnover was still warm and crust delicious. I was told they have the bakery in the market and bakes everything fresh daily. Next time I will need to try the donuts!”

You must try their ciders if you go because they are the BEST! Tulip picking season is gorgeous & I don’t know anywhere else you can get a large mason jar of tulips so inexpensively. Raspberry picking season might be my favorite. There is nothing better than fresh picked raspberries! Pumpkin seasons is also great, as is the live outdoor music season. They also have a great restaurant on site that is a one-of-a-kind experience with excellent, locally sourced foods. I recommend Sunday brunch on the large outdoor deck. It is fabulous! They accept (and encourage) reservations.”
“Great selection, though their "special" items are can be very limited and you have to buy them or you won't see them again. But if you're looking for your usual produce and other goods, Aldi is awesome.”
