We are very happy with the job Zenith did recently for our home remodel.
Our interactions with every staff member were always pleasant from the very first meeting to our last, and we were especially impressed with their commitment to customer service and satisfaction.
Nicholas and Jessica worked with us initially to find a design that fit within our budget, and we were thankful for Lauren's helpful design suggestions and ideas.
Once the project began, there were a couple of hiccups (specifically, in regards to the painting), but Matt Garcia went above and beyond to remedy this issue for us.
Aside from that, the project went by smoothly and we want to thank our project manager Mike for that. We also enjoyed getting to know many of the other team members throughout the duration of the project, who always seemed genuinely happy to be there and cared about the job they did. Chuck, in particular, took great pride in his work and was always happy and willing to address any questions or requests we had.
We love our new home and certainly won't hesitate to contact Zenith again for any projects we may have in the future.

Everyone was so great. I was impressed from the start with Zenith. With Jess, when she first sat with us and helped us with the beginning features/reality. Julietta provided beautiful designs and listened to our tastes. Jon kept in touch and stopped by every so now and again checking in on the progress and answered any oddball question we had. We now have such a lovely porch where I can listen to the cicadas/other bugs and not get attacked by them! Thank you all so much.

We recently completed a four month long, whole house renovation with Zenith D+B and we are beyond happy with how things turned out! Our designer, Lauren Hasselbusch, was thoughtful and did such an amazing job helping us research and select the right finishes. Five stars go out to Mike Johnston, our superintendent, who always had a smile and a solution to keeping things moving forward. Our project craftspeople and all the trades that helped were professional and provided the attention to detail we were hoping for. The true Dream Team of the project were the carpenters who did such an amazing job: Brian VanDenTop, Briar Knapp and Tyler Fritz (thanks for our awesome pet door!!!:)
All construction projects have their challenges, but Zenith did an incredible job of keeping ours on schedule andwithin budget. I highly recommend Zenith for any size project-if they cost a little more-trust me...they're worth it. They care and it shows in everything they do.

We used Zenith to design and renovate our kitchen, laundry/powder room, and staircase. Jess initially made us feel so comfortable and like Zenith would be the best fit for our project. We couldn’t have been happier with our designer Lauren who helped bring our vision to life with her expertise. Our project stayed on track and within our budget thanks to our project manager, Jon! Zenith has a great team, does great work, and was always extremely professional and kind. We would recommend them over and over for any of your project needs, and would use them again in the future!

When my wife and I decided to remodel our first floor, encompassing our kitchen, dining room, and living room, we were inundated with choices. It was a daunting task, to say the least. That's when we stumbled upon Zenith, and from the very first interaction, we knew we were in good hands.
Zenith's professionalism was evident from the get-go. Our project manager, Amy, took the time to sit down with us, listen to our ideas, and understand our vision for the space. What truly set them apart was their commitment to transparency and communication. Every step of the process, from design conception to final delivery, was meticulously laid out and thoroughly explained. We never felt in the dark or pressured to compromise on our vision. They set a construction timeline, and not only did they finish on time, the project was completed two weeks ahead of schedule.
The team at Zenith not only met our expectations but exceeded them in every way possible. Our project’s superintendent, Jay, attention to detail was impeccable, ensuring that every aspect of the remodel was executed flawlessly. And when we ran into two small issues during the final walkthrough- a ding in a cabinet drawer and a loud garbage disposal - they fixed the issues immediately at no extra cost.
Moreover, the dedication of the Zenith team members Vic, Chuck, Briar, and Elmo, was truly commendable. Their hard work and commitment to the project were evident every step of the way, contributing to the overall success of the remodel. But beyond their technical expertise, it was the personal touch that made working with Zenith truly exceptional. They treated our home as if it were their own, respecting our space and keeping the disruption to a minimum. Their dedication to customer satisfaction was evident in every interaction, making the entire process stress-free and enjoyable.
Thanks to Zenith, our first-floor remodel surpassed all our expectations. It's not just a space; it's a reflection of our style and personality, brought to life with the help of a truly exceptional team. My husband and I have worked with Zenith for 3 projects now, starting in mid-2020. There is a reason we keep going back to Zenith: the people.
Even at its best, construction on your home is stressful, but Nicholas (the owner), Jay (our project superintendent), and Julieta (our designer) made our projects as easy as possible for my family. They are all communicative, trustworthy, and natural problem solvers. Nicholas is quick to address any problems and has been a collaborative partner in creating solutions that align with our budget. Julieta brought our vision to life on paper and struck a beautiful balance between her style and ours. Jay treats his clients like family; he doesn't settle for anything less than what he would want for his own daughter. His attention to detail is next to none, and we appreciate his personal investment in making our home exactly what we envisioned and making the experience as smooth as possible. Julieta and Jay both brought unique perspectives to our projects, and when inevitable surprises occurred, they were able to find solutions together that aligned with both the original budget and vision. Other staff - including Vic and Brian - have also been instrumental in making our projects a success. Nicholas has built a wonderful team overall.
Beyond the people, Zenith is well-priced for the high quality of work, unique design solutions, and customer service. No other design/build in Des Moines is delivering in quite the same way today. We'll continue to use Zenith for our future needs.

I had NICHOLAS from ZENITH design put a bathroom in my basement and redo the upstairs bathroom he quoted me a price and I accepted. They began work and everthing was moving along well. Then the plumbers came... they had to put a wast grinder in due to drain was not deep enough (would have put bathroom in a different place if I knew this beforehand) they hooked up water backwards (hot was cold and cold was hot) had to cut various holes in the new drywall to reverse hot and cold water??? Air vent was left off for upstairs bedroom and heater blew hot air on bottom of upstairs bedroom causing the beautiful 1956 hardwood floors to bow shrivel and crack! In the mean time the new shower in the new basement bathroom did not get sealed correctly and leaked into the walls causing the drywall to rot and mold. I did not find out until it showed up on the bottom of the walls by the shower over a years time. After they completed work NICHOLAS added $1000 to my already over quote price tag! Said everybody adds design cost after quote??? When I contacted them to resolve these problems they said they were not responsible and it was past my 1 yr warranty? Unless I ripped the walls down and inspected all their work or tore the ceiling apart and found the vent off I don't think I would have known or anybody would have known until the damage was done! Not happy cost me several thousand dollars to repair their poor quality work!

Thank you, Lauren Hasselbasch, Jon Curry and Ian Brandt for the two-story project completed on our home! We love our new beautiful spaces: sun/dining room, studio/office, master closet, deck, sidewalk, and connected shed. It was a huge project for us! We appreciate the relationships built during the process and the team approach to problem-solving when working within the context of a remodel situation. We chose to work with zeniths design team for our whole home remodel project and were very impressed with the entire process.
