Got scheduled for a time that wasn't available because the place didn't open till an hour later and that didn't matter because they also scheduled at a building that was under construction. Someone is really dropping the ball here....

I have used Safelite twice. The first time they came out and broke my window more so then I had to drop it off to have the window fixed. Then it was a whole most of them not knowing how to fix the window. Embarrassing. Then the actually cut my leather seats in the process. The second time that I used them they canceled my appointment because the tech was sick. Is there one tech for all of Des Moines. In addition they called 2 hours after they should have been there as I had paid extra to be the first appointment. Then they canceled a second time. After this my windshield finally got fixed, and as I'm paying the guy says " I forgot the windshield wipers, did you still want them?" UHG ya I just paid for them. its honesty laughable how disorganized this business is . just go to you dealership and have a windshield put in cause these guys got not idea.

After getting the chip in my windshield fixed, I am extremely disappointed with the outcome. I feel like rather than just filling in the chip, someone should have discussed alternative options with me. The chip in my windshield was deep, and I understand that. However, since other repair options were never discussed with me, I assumed it was fixable and would look good as new afterward.
No one ever mentioned the possibility of still seeing the chip even after it was repaired. Ultimately, the option of replacing the entire windshield should have been discussed with me. I am highly disappointed that I paid what I did and can still see the chip in my windshield. Not only is the chip visible, but faint cracks are also spreading from the initial impact.
I had confidence in Safelite to efficiently fix my windshield, but after my experience and the poor results, I definitely will not be recommending them to friends, family, or anyone looking for this type of service. It is not worth spending all this money for such poor finished results. Picture posted in review is taken AFTER the "repair" was done.

Unable to get the windshield we needed. Was told no longer available. Made no sense as we found multiple places online that did have the glass. Apparently Safelite gets glass from certain vendors or not available. Various dealerships actually had the glass in stock or were able to secure one as we actually called 4 places.

Garbage customer service. Waited all day for a call back and never got one. Went to Glass Doctor instead. Great guys working there and exceptional customer service.

traveling thru- 2 rock chips on a Friday. Professional, courteous, and made appointment for next morning. Did wonderful job and quick. Access is convoluted but the crew was great.

AVOID! My insurance company gave me their number and since they are Nationally known, I gave them the benefit-of-the-doubt that they knew what they were doing. Bad assumption! First off, it took 12 days for them to get me in because they had to order my windshield since they did not have everything they needed . . . fair enough. They also needed me to drop it off because they needed to calibrate my mirror onto the window . . . again, fair enough. So I dropped my car off on a Sunday night and they called me at 9:30am Monday morning saying that they did not have all the parts that they needed to replace my window and I would have to reschedule in 7 days. WOW!! I immediately called my insurance company and asked if I could switch companies. They said no problem and I found Kryger Glass just a mile away from them. They had everything they needed in-stock, were very friendly on the phone, and were able to hook me up and get the job done FAST!! Long-Story-Long . . . AVOID SafeLite Repair, replace them with places like Kryger Glass!

The automated answering system is unable to connect me to a human and kept hanging up on me. There's plenty of competition in town. I'm going somewhere that answers the phone.

I went to my appointment for a total windshield replacement. I was greeted promptly and courteously. After looking at my windshield and testing everything it turned out I didn’t need a windshield. The guys were great and professional. True honesty and integrity at Safelite. I will definitely use Safelite if I ever need services done.

Good experience, set it up through insurance. Total trip took less than a half hour. Good work was done and expectations were set prior to beginning work. (There is a visibility of the damage but it's hindered from spreading which is what I wanted)

I have tried to get a quote on a Crack in my windshield but the online services have not helped me and when I call in I can't talk to a human at all I get a computer telling me since I'm on a smart phone I need to go online and then hangs up if I request to talk to an operator I get hung up on.
