I sell and shop here every 3 months or so, new seasons. The staff is all super friendly and the gently used clothes prices are fair. Yes, I could make more selling on market place or something but ain't nobody got time for that! Kidding around makes it super easy.

I saw by the Facebook post that they were under new owners and management. I’m very pleased! I went in and was treated so well. There are new friendly staff members that I haven’t met yet. But they were AMAZING. Out of all the kids consignment stores in the area. This one wins my business over and over again. They are so helpful even if the item I’m looking for isn’t on the shelf. They will search and help me find the items I’m interested in. Highly recommend!

I called about some items I dropped off the previous day, explaining that my work hours might now allow me to make it in time, and when I spoke to the woman on the phone she said they would be ready within the next 15 minutes. I drove here, asked about it, and the woman at the counter told me there was no way my items would be ready within the next 30 minutes. I honestly feel very upset because I don't have the money to be wasting on gas. I only arrived because I knew I might not make it after work and they are only open until 6. I would've understood if they told me to wait, but why tell me they'll be ready, have me waste my gas, and then tell me when I arrive my items won't be ready? A huge waste of time and gas when I don't have the money to waste gas right now. Contradiction from employees caused me a bit of trouble and I'll likely have to rush to try and grab the items if they're actually ready tonight.

Great selection of toddler boy and infant girl. Very happy! So hard to find 3T boy, but they had a great selection. I will be back.

I’ve been consigning/shopping here for almost 7 years now. The ladies are all friendly and I’ve never had a bad experience! TONS of inventory which is nice to go through and see what you can find!

Went here today for some clothes for vacation next week and left with a summer wardrobe for both kids and toys and books for the car. Their selection is amazing and their staff is very helpful and kind! Am associate names Mollie helped us and she was amazing! Will definitely be going back

I have been shopping at Kidding Around for over 10yrs. All 3 of my children have worn clothes from this consignment store. The variety of name brand items is what keeps me coming back. I love that I can get anything from a variety of mixed toys my kids can dig through on our hour drive home, maybe a hardly worn leotard, baseball cleats, and 75% of their wardrobe. It takes patience because they have a lot of inventory. Sometimes I leave with nothing and some times I leave with 6 bags. Regardless the outcome I always enjoy the treasure hunt at Kidding Around!Happy Thrifting!!

I absolutely LOVE this store! The staff is AMAZING, the prices are very reasonable and all the items are taken very good care of. As a single mom I could not afford to give my child this quality of clothing at a box retail store and their prices. I love their donation program and store credit option. I look forward to every visit. Must shop for children's clothing!

The BEST! If you have children, this is a MUST. The store has an amazing selection of brands (Crew Kids, Tea, Gap, H&M) and the clothes are in great condition. It is also filled with the most amazing women. Jenny always greets me and asks how I am doing. They are always helpful and I can't say enough kind words about this store and their employees. It is a gem here in Des Moines! I love Kidding Around!
