Today was my first time going here. I had no idea how it worked having never purchased fabric before but tried to follow along. I didn't realize that one line fed both sides of the counter where they cut fabric, and there wasn't a line when I got there. But while I was waiting a line formed on the other side (where the line was supposed to be, and I didn't realize). Instead of telling me I wasn't in line, one of the employees was rude, mean, and made me feel small. I went and got in the line while she helped someone else, then when I was up, I was supposed to go to her side, except she ignored me. I was so confused about the whole experience, no one helped me, and then I was belittled. I would never go back.

Not anyone available to help me find what was listed on the web site . Listed 16 were in stock but nothing g on the shelves that would work for me! Had to call the store number and was told what I wanted had to be shipped. Made a special trip for nothing. Won’t be back anytime soon. I read reviews of good customer service! Where was it today?

I usually love this store because if the employee Donna she's always friendly has a great smile and always so willing to help with whatever you need. HOWEVER today is another story there is a manager type large adult man at the cash register today who acted as tho he hates his job did not smile nor greet us in a friendly manner and when we went to use our coupon he snapped at us it doesn't work for that item. When we tried to politely tell him it wasn't part of the exclusives list ON THE ACTUAL coupon he again snaps that there is an extended list of exclusions now on their website. First of all how are we suppose to know that second of all when did that happen 3rd of all it's literally almost every single item in the store on that list! If you're going to give your faithful and loyal customers coupons let them use it it was a $20 for Pete sakes I don't think the company is gonna miss me being excited to use a copoun so that I buy MORE items while in the store and come back for more when the next coupons drop. SMH

Very quick store with a large selection of fabric. Be careful to avoid high-traffic hours as there is usually only one person at the register and no self-check-out option. Will return.

I always keep to myself and usually don’t ask employees for questions unless necessary, and I finally asked for help today and instantly regretted it. There was a very nice older woman who was willing to help me, and called over someone maybe a manager or someone. An older man with a black/grey ponytail. He instantly seemed defensive, was talking loudly at me, basically shrugged me off. If it’s not on the floor, can’t help you sorry. If he would have taken 2 seconds to even look at the product on my phone (which it said was in stock here) he would have easily been able to redirect me to another asile which had the same product, different brand. Which I found after wondering myself around. I’ve worked in retail, and I would have dug through those boxes to find a customer their product, let alone have the knowledge that Resin products live under Resin and Resin Jewelry. Easily could have helped, did not need to rudely and defensively shut me down. Thank you to the kind woman who was trying to help me best as she could.

I can tell by your employees that your stores definitely gonna go broke. I could just tell by their attitudes how rude they are.6 8 10 people in line to get their fabric. Cut, then you go and wait if the cashier again for another 6 8 10 people. What's a matter with you people?

I placed an in-store pick-up order online at 10:30 am. It stated on line to give a hour or two for email notification that your order is ready for pick up. I live a little over an hour away so I headed to Des Moines to pick up 6 skeins of yarn. I got to Joann at 2:30 pm, asked if my order was ready for pick-up and was told "NO. You are not supposed to come in until you receive an email saying it is ready". I explained that I live a long ways away and it's ok that it isn't ready. I can grab it myself seems how I am here and save your employee the trouble. Oh no, I was told I couldn't do that and to just look around while they got it ready. No problem, that's what I did. I came out of the bathroom to hear the employee that got my order ready complaining about me. I said "I offered to get the order myself and you are rude!" She continued to run her mouth to me. Made me feel like crying because I never complained one time to them!! Never again!!
