I came in 35 minutes ago and made two purchases. One was for sausage and one was for paper towels. I found the paper towels at Hy-Vee for $3 cheaper so I purchased the ones at HyVee and try to come back and return the other paper towels I had bought at fairway. Then I noticed on my receipt that they overcharged me for sausage that I purchased so a I thought they would just give me a price adjustment for the $1.99 or I would just return it cuz it was 5.97. The people who were trying to assist me were very kind and then the manager came and said no we cannot return those The paper towels are open which that is the way I purchased it and then the sausage we cannot return because it is food You can't return food of course you can't. You should know that. It's a violation. I said well if you want to adjust the price on the sausage I will keep that that's fine I wanted to buy that at that price. So she rudely did adjust that price and then she rudely refunded my paper towels. She was absolutely the worst manager I have ever dealt with in a fair way I have never been treated so unprofessionally. Fairway is known for their kindness no ifs ands or butts. But today we met her. She needed to follow suit from the kindness of her employees. I definitely will not return to this store and I hope she learns a lesson how to treat customers and people in general just to be kind I was kind to her so I expected the same in return. But her energy was met with the same energy she gave unfortunately.
