After 20 years of gold standard service, in 2023 they took out all the drive thru tellers and replaced with machines. Inside... once 4 tellers now two. Replaced with same worthless wannabe ATM machines. Now when I go into bank, the SINGLE line is 15+ munute wait. Nobody uses the worthless machines.

Three employees standing around all at the drive up area no cars while there are three people waiting. Awful customer service no one greeting the customers or even acknowledging them. Can get better service at wellsfargo.

I know a lot of places are going casual in dress code, but the staff here look extremely sloppy. The teller went to was wearing a pullover, and looked like she hadn't brushed or washed her hair in days. It's not very pleasant to bank somewhere the employees have no respect for.

If I could give this horrible place 0 stars I would. Whatever you do, do NOT GET A CAR LOAN FROM HERE!!!!! No wonder every major dealership has cut ties with them. They will screw your account up then charge 2 to 3 late fees a month charge you a late fee before your due date. This “ bank” is a joke!!!!! And Spencer the loan guy has no clue what he is doing. The dumbest thing my husband has ever done is move his car payments from Honda to here.

They have replaced tellers with automated machines inside at 2 of the windows. Staff dresses like they are at a friends football game party--very sloppy. Used to be a good place to get a car loan, but they have shot up the interest rates and no bargains left to be found. Better choices elsewhere.

Now why would I use a machine to a teller in Johnston when we have a dozen tellers throwing airplanes in the lobby. Instead of giving me the customer service I am looking for, this dude trys to get me to use this machine.Definitely time for a new bank. One with a more adult professional attitude as well. I'm sure there has got to be something for this people to do.So instead of dealing with any of that (whatever that was in there). I had to go out to my car and use the drive-up.

Horrible online system. They are constantly "updating" the system several times a year, so far I can't access my bill pay since friday, today is mid day tuesday. Also, both my husband and I have caught them numerous times not giving the right amount of cash back when physically going to the bank(both drive up and in office). Lastly, I tried to cancel a check sent from their billpay system and they told me I could not cancel it because they physically mailed the check-I never have heard of such a thing!

I’ve been banking with CCCU for over 15 years and was always impressed until the last few years. They are supposed to guide their customers to make informed decisions about their banking needs. And what I’ve noticed recently, is that there doesn’t seem to be adequate training of all their staff. I’ve run into a lot of communication issues over the last few years that have resulted in a loss of thousands of dollars. I don’t know if it’s because they’re growing so much or what but something needs to be done, so they are all on the same page. So unfortunately, I’ll probably be looking elsewhere for my banking needs after I get to a point where I can move my loans.

Horrible place to bank. Hours are inconvenient, tellers are very slow, management should be working as tellers when there are more customers than they can handle.

Can never get anyone on the phone! Have tried getting thru the last two days to someone and it's been 10 people in queue every hour? They need to allow people to call into an actual branch, not some phone hub for every branch there is..

Most locations have poor employees who treat customers very poorly. Some employees will sit there and choose favorites (watched it happen and happened to me) they will sit there and belittle you too.

Horrible waiting times. Mobile deposit doesn't work. I like how they will auto debit your account on weekends, but will not deposit checks through mobile deposit if deposited on Fridays till Tuesday the following week. The new app has many problems. I'm glad I kept my old bank account open from my other bank! I'll be switching back to my old bank very soon.

Service has gotten worse and worse here. Expect condescending attitudes where employees ignore questions, make up answers, or state 'it's policy' and refuse to explain more. Want to deposit a check or transfer money? That may be allowed, against some unwritten policy, or require several days to perform depending on your luck.

I came here to open an account and since it was close to the end of their work day I was told to come back. I stopped by and called several times and I was not given any help or answers. Poor customer service.

I'm giving 5 stars to the Clive locations, and 10 stars to ANN, my account was over drafted big time due to me using my debit card for an emergency and unfortunately the emergency amount came out before my bills, leading to overdraft fees and a huge negative balance, Ann took the time to listen to my issues and took the time to reach out to someone who then reversed a couple of my OD fees, it might not seem special to some people, but to me her Customer service was superb! I've delt with some unhappy reps at a different location, so her willingness to help was much appreciated! Thank you, Ann!!!
