Jacob "Jack" Jochum at Stew Hansen's GMC on Hickman is probably one of the most charismatic individuals I've ever met! He asked all the right questions, gave me several options, explained everything clearly and made sure I was satisfied with my decision. I was impressed with his knowledge and his caring demeanor. Ordered a part from this location. The part took months to arrive. I was charged a $200 core deposit, but they wouldn’t give the deposit back. Shady business. Zero customer service.

Evidently extended warranty doesn’t cover diagnostics because they don’t want to know what’s wrong and stew Hanson charges extra fees for diagnostics

Bought a truck and after not owning it for more than 24 hours the transmission went out of it and I got stuck with a hefty bill after it was all said and done if this is the kind of business you run I will never buy from there again or anyone else I know won’t buy from there buyers be aware of this dealership the pressure you into buying a vehicle just for it to break down the next day then pretty much say to bad so sad not our problem

I scheduled an oil change, low tire check, and check why my car was stalling when leaving from a stop. I was there 3 1/2 hours! Steve was very nice; valve stems needed replaced on two tires, and they forgave the labor cost for that, because I had to wait so long. They were not able to tell me why the car was stalling, and last week I took it to Terry's Auto in Clive. They found the problem and fixed it. Not sure why Stew Hansen couldn't find the problem. Nice people.

This dealership has been a blessing to us. We are traveling through the area, and our 2018 Yukon XL suffered a transmission breakdown. We drove in without an appointment and met Alex, who immediately took charge. He got our problem diagnosed and started repairs.
Since it would take 2 days, they allowed us to leave our rv trailer in their lot and gave us a loaner vehicle.
We are super appreciative of their kindness and concern. We highly recommend Stew Hansen Buick GMC for service.

Up dating my review as just bought new Buick Encore. My dealer was Tess Clark who went above and beyond. So up beat and sincere. Did not pressure any way. Manager financed officer were just as great. Look forward to working with Max in service department again. Customer for life!
