“It wasn't until earlier this year I was introduced to Acheson on the recommendation of my friends. So far Acheson has been professional to an outstanding degree. I barely know a thing when it comes to auto-repair. They are clear on what they recommend to be repaired, replaced, or can be left alone for the time being. They were even able to explain what each repairable part did for my vehicle. It was extremely helpful in deciding what to have them start making repairs on. They may be a little pricier than some other places but that's because Acheson is full of professionals who know what they are doing and you can rest assured that after you bring your vehicle in to them that you'll leave satisfied and with a lighter weight on your mind. 5/5 they deserve the gold star in every category and they've made a customer for life.Services: Steering & suspension repair”

“Cory really helped me out with getting my car fixed up and ready for winter. A professional, proactive team that was fairly priced (overall cheaper) compared to other local mechanics I went to. I'll be returning to get more work completed on my vehicle!”

“I've been on PTO for the past few days...just burning up time I have to burn before the end of the first quarter so I don't lose it. No big plans. Just spending some time with the kids, parents, and kicking around. On the way home from my parents' place on Tuesday evening I had a check engine light come on up by Stanhope on Hwy 17. I still had to take the kids home to their mom's (near Norwalk) and then drive back to my place in Clive. It was solid...not blinking...so it probably wasn't anything catastrophic. I've blown two head gaskets in my past and seized up one engine so I can say that my butthole puckered up just a little the rest of that ride home (about 80 miles in total were left to go). I got home and started stressing a little, but got to sleep. The next morning I started checking into what I needed to do. I found online that O'Reilly's will do free code checks on check engine lights. I showered up, got dressed and headed that way. The guys at the Clive location were great. Ran the codes and gave me a print out. He did tell me that the codes generated were sometimes general and not 100% accurate. They won't clear the warning so that light stays on...they just check the codes for you. It was showing problems with my emissions/catalytic converter. A quick search showed that replacing a catalytic converters is about $1,300 in parts and labor. Ugh. I took the print out to the Midas in Clive. The guy at the front desk was great. He looked at the print out. Made it clear that emissions do involve the catalytic converters, but there are other things like O2 sensors, etc. in play. He asked me the year and miles of the car and then he laughed and said it was highly unlikely that it was my catalytic converter. He asked me if I knew how to clear the check engine light. I'd already Googled that. Remove the negative battery connection for a couple of minutes and hook it back up on a GMC vehicle. He told me to do that and he also asked if I ran ethanol. I do. He recommended getting a good fuel additive, filling up with Premium for a couple of tanks, and getting it out of town and to "drive it like I stole it." Lol He said if the light did come back on to bring it in and the would hook it up and dig in deeper, but he didn't want me to waste my money. That's important to me too! I was kind of taken aback. It's not often right now that you find great people who provide good customer service and think about you more than just with their own wallet in mind. Or at least it kind of seems like it's less often than it used to be... The light hasn't come back on and I hope it stays that way. I didn't put a lot of miles on yesterday, but I put quite a few miles on today in town, on highways, and the interstate. I'm hoping it stays that way if the good Lord is willing and the creek don't rise... I appreciate the guys at both O'Reilly's (Clive) and Midas (Clive). It was nice to deal with people who weren't going for an immediate cash grab... I know they really helped relax me when my anxiety was kicking in thinking worst case scenarios. As an added note... A lot of farmers in rural Iowa are burning off parts of their land and ditches right now. I ran through some really heavy smoke on the way home. In hindsight the heaviest was North of Stanhope. I read online that smoke from wildfires etc. can sometimes impact your car's sensors... Could have just been a coincidence too.”

“Very friendly customer service. Best prices around (except Walmart, but Walmart put the wrong tires on my truck once and just by looking at them on the truck they should have known. It looked like golf cart tires on a truck). I highly recommend Earl’s West.”

“After taking my Lexus to the local dealership for years and becoming increasingly disappointed in their service and high prices, I gave Trent's Garage a try. All I can say is "WOW"....they really do things right! Excellent customer service and trustworthy. Amy and her crew actually care about their customers and do everything in their power to make sure you are well taken care of. They are also extremely knowledgable and know their business well. I highly recommend them.”

“Absolutely the best place to take your vehicle when no one can figure out the problem. Honestly, if I have an electrical problem they are the only ones I trust to take it to and figure it out the first time.”

“Absolute AWESOME company to help with school bus conversions. I searched for six months to find a muffler and tailpipe for my 2007 Chevrolet Corbeil 5 window skoolie. After the advice from the bus mechanic I work with, I called Auto-jet. The gentleman I spoke with knew exactly what I needed and got it shipped out quickly. Thanks to Quentin I had everything I needed. Now I have a quiet bus again. The prices were VERY reasonable and fair. I'll be back if I need ANYTHING else.”

“My recent experience at Stew Hansen Buick GMC was outstanding. Alex was very friendly and took time to explain options to me, as well as answer my questions. The waiting area was very comfortable. My floormats were even vacuumed out while I was there!”

“My daughter and I were driving to Colorado from Indiana. My Sonata quit in De Moines. I left it at Stew Hansen on a Sunday. I rented a car and drove the rest of the way to Colorado that day. Cole from the service department called me the next day got my information and informed me that they would get to my car as soon as they could. Within a relatively short time I got the call and was told that the repair fell under a recall issue. In a short time the car was fixed and ready for pick-up. This is a dealership that I would trust wholeheartedly. The honesty and integrity throughout the process is greatly appreciated. Thank You Cole and the rest of the team at Stew Hansen!”

“Westside Auto Pros was super easy to work with. When driving, my car would just slow to a crawl. They quickly diagnosed the issue and fixed it (when the dealer's service department couldn't find anything). Their relationship with Enterprise made the whole process really convenient. I definitely recommend them!Service: Engine repair”

“The service here is great! Unfortunately my car has needed major repairs twice in the last year The staff here has been great to work with. I have a Genesis and Stew Hansen’s is the closest thing to a Genesis dealer in town. They kept me informed while waiting for parts and throughout the repair process. The work looks great and you can’t tell it was even hit. Although I don’t really want to be a repeat customer at a Collision Center, I will be coming back if the need arises in the future!Service: Painting”
