Zero stars!! I went in with a friend to have her exhaust replaced. I told him specifically what I wanted done. He did some unauthorized work on the car. I told him and his wife the amount of money I had. He exceeded that amount by a lot. He replaced the brake calipers and I told them I couldn't afford it. So he went in and took the calipers off and put the old ones back on. There was someone else's bill attached to mine. It cost me nearly $1000 to replace the exhaust. I will never go there again. There's so much more to say, but it's very upsetting and I don't want to say anything I shouldn't.

PSA!!!! I took my car to a reputable shop in town but was unfortunately unable to even consider getting it serviced there because of the cost. I decided to get a second quote from a smaller shop in town RICHARDS AUTO REPAIR when I got there RICHARD the old man seemed nice he put my car on his lift and started to give it a brief diagnostic. While my car was on the lift he walked me under my car to show me repairs needed at that time He started to place his hand on my lower back and was trying to put his dick on my leg. Essentially holding me hostage with my car in the air he repeated this behavior. I was polite and continued to move away from him. He offered to do repairs on my car for 500 and I understood this to be below cost. As I got in my car and proceeded to leave he told me he would do it at the cost if I GAVE HIM A HAND JOB!!!!!! I ignored this comment and drove off. I guess because I didn't respond to this comment he called me the following day to let me know I now have to purchase my parts for my car and that he would charge 500 for labor. Women please do not go to Richards Auto Repair he is a pig!!!!

This man does an amazing job. No matter what issue he is called about. Always friendly and welcoming. The young lady (wife) that works with him is so sweet. Will always consider them as my go to/first choice.

Came in with an antifreeze leak. He replaced a gasket and thermostat. I also decided to get an oil change while I was there and he charged me $165 for the oil change! It was like paying for 2 and getting one. Walmart and farm amd fleet charge about $65 for full synthetic and that includes oil and air filter. I should have never agreed to pay that but I was so speechless I couldn't believe it.

If I could do zero stars I would. They didn't fix anything I asked him to do beside putting pads in..... I couldve done that myself. I took it to them to have some bigger stuff done. NOTHING too major and he gave me the run around then proceeded to just do brakes and tell me what I wanted done wasn't gonna fix it..... I had another mechanic take on the job and now my truck is like new! Richard wayy overcharged me for brake pads and i felt like i got taken for ...im sorry but I'd never let them touch anything of anyone's... yall beware.
