The on-call doctor was very helpful. I appreciated her help so much and just so she knows the puppy that was stuck was stillborn and we lost the one right after that one but the mama and her five other pups are doing great. Puppies are now 3 weeks old

They carry the products I needed and were able to squeeze my cats in for an appointment with almost no notice. Very grateful ?

I dont even wanna give 1 star...My experience was horrible. I felt Dr Loux was very unprofessional, uncaring and was only worried about getting paid for coming after hours just to tell me he couldnt do anything to help my pup and that we needed to think about putting her down. I got charged $125.00 for him to tell me this, and oh, if i wanted him to put her down it would be $225.00. Im so glad i did not listen to him. Pets for patriots took her and she has had surgury and is now in her healing process and is doing very well.
She will be trained to be a companion dog.
I will never go to this place again, nor will i ever refer anybody to go there.

I called after hours for emergency appointment and the vet was able to meet met his vet hospital. He was so kind and gentle with my little 7 pound 2 year old Yorkie. He drew blood, injected fluids and antibiotics- JD barely noticed. This vet is a seasoned professional. He even educated me about the importance of keeping JD on heart worm medication. I highly recommend this vet.

This rating is nothing against the entire practice itself but specifically Dr. Loux. He was the veterinarian on call Sunday night when I called because my dog had taken ill. He was dismissive & careless. He told me to drive to a hospital in Ames if I wanted her to be seen. I called him multiple times & he said there was nothing he could do. I’m new to this area & asked him if he knew of anyone else who could help me locally & he again, referred me to Ames (1.5 hours away). I was finally able to get in contact with a vet who would see me, but by the time that happened my dog was dying & it was too late. This man was not comforting, he was not at the least concerned, he behaved as if he could care less. I would never wish the feeling of helplessness I felt that night upon anyone, ever. Seek animal care elsewhere, because the doctors that treat your animals should be able to do the bare minimum & be capable of caring for your animal, whether they know them or not & at any time of day.

Wouldn't see our vomiting puppy and he was the Dr. On call. Poor service.

I don't think this vet even likes dogs. He was very rough with my sweet little dog. Not friendly at all and I don't think he did a good job.

This vet was rough and not friendly at all to my dog who is very well behaved. I don't think this vet even likes dogs. I will never go here again.

Needed an emergency vet visit and they took the call. Much less expensive than I thought for an afterhours call. Hopefully my cat feels better soon! Thank you for the help!

Took our dog to see Dr. Loux for an emergency after hours. He was very kind and helpful especially since we made him go in late in the evening.

I had to bring in my dog who passed away and they were great handling the cremation of him.
